*OJ: Experienced also hood latch noise, it occurs when vehicle is moving. This time, there's chirp on engine(cold startup only) even when hood/ vehicle is open/ stationary.

Wheel bearing? no problem yet with mine. Last time i opened the wheels when i replaced stucked caliper pins. Swore not to do river crossings again in Malabon and Sampaloc.


My guess, wheel bearing is included as one-piece of the hub assy just like the estate and grandia.

Had the same chirping sound too, ended up replacing the pulley assembly which solved the problem, but while i was canvasing for parts by phone, someone from nissan crvi service mentioned that the pulley bearing could be replaced but he did not have it on stock. Try calling the parts dep, baka meron na but his quoted price was about 1k.

I will still try to replace the bearing on my old one as a spare. Let us know if you find a replacement. Thanks!

Update re pulleys, still waiting for NSK japan. It turns out these bearings are supplied by NSK to pulley makers

Seriously if i will not be able to get the exact part number, im ready to get new assembly. Problem with replacement is, i don't know the specs of OE, RPM ratings might be different with the replacement part number.

Hindi sir ok yun, walang air temperature at air volume sensor, wendang ang computer mo sa A/F mixture. May MAF adapter dapat.

I think speedlab can customize using silicones. Yung K&N kasi built in adapter na.
Wait lang natin mga nav boys na nakapag palit ng intake using hks

Some things to watchout re engine noise..

Some says YD engines are worse than ZD30 so if you hear something abnormal under the hood, better check before it grenades itself..
Good thing aftermarket parts are available..

Havent touched my uca's sir,so far no issues yet. You're experiencing bushing noise?
I thought ur running on calminis in radflo coils?
