Hi guys. Help naman sa nav ko. Im about to change the stock horns of my nav and found out that there is only one mount available on the right side, behind the grills in front. Kanina, I went to Tire Smart (Davao) and the installer suggested to put the horns on the inside space located at the front bumper and just above the plate number. Is this an appropriate place for the horns or behind the grills talaga dapat?

Lastly, the installer suggested na dagdagan ang relay ng Hella horns to make it louder and consequently sabi niya na gawing 2 sets na lang (total of 4 horns all in all) para mas malakas. Which is which? Baka kasi magkaproblema in the long run.

there is only one horn and one mounting site sa stock nav. i maintained the original horn just where it is (para at least hindi nagalaw ang stock electricals) but installed a pair of mitsuba air horns and they mounted it there exactly where you described it sa may ilalim ng front grille. so far no problems pa naman. i only foresee problems if i wade through hood-height floods but so far wala naman ganyan dito sa amin. and yes you need to install a relay for the new set of horns.

i used to have 4 horns also kaso it blew a fuse alot pinatanggal ko na at nilagyan ng relay. mine is installed behind the grill right side and the 2nd one inside the bumper below plate i think...

Wow mura naman nyan. Update mo naman kami after 10Tkms kung magkahimulmol sa MAF sensor. Kung di sya mahimulmol after 10Tkms ok na replacement talaga yan.

Guys problem encountered here on my nav after the installation of its new set of horns. The problem is not with the horns or the electricals but with the FRONT GRILL. I noticed one of the squared-shaped plastic screw at the side of the grill (near the headlight) that holds it is not properly put unto its place. Yung tipong hindi napasok sa shape ng square. When I went home, I tried rotating it clockwise and a bit of a counter clockwise and suddenly it fell inside its cave. Looks to me that I broke it. Did I? Not sure kung detachable yun or what and I hope hindi sana nabali yun sa pag paikot ko nung flat screw.

Does anyone have a similar experience?

Nice find sir Jess, anong model ang pang navara? na check ko na din yan dati kaya lang wala sa list nila pang Navara last year ko pa nakita siguro meron na sila ngayon, pro comp yan diba? local purchase mo ba yan ?

MAF Sensor adapter specs for those who want to get one made for a high flow intake. They are hard to find in the Philippines but easy to get made. This is for 97 and up vehicles only.

*dvldoc: the problem with our maf sensor is it's molded to the air filter box. we'd need to cut it out to place the adapter. i haven't yet had the luck to find one at the wreckers'

as for the alco injection, it says "tap to a vacuum line", we only have the boost line from the map sensor (where i also tee'd for the boost gauge). will this do?
