* IKALINGA, bro long time no hear, sorry to hear about your problem, like what they said, 1st check your hoses to the turbo after the sensor, that might be the cause for the limp, then try to reset your ecu via pedal press,
here is the method:
Resetting ECU and FUEL pump MAY help in cutting down on that horrible tapping noise that the D40 suffers from and limp mode that you may be suffering from
.
carry out this reset and the engine is alot smoother, more responsive, less smokey and alot less tappy.
To carry out the reset carry out the following
Turn ingnition on so all dash lights come on.
Wait 3 seconds
PUMP accelerator pedel 5 times within 5 seconds....
with foot now OFF accelerator wait 7 seconds...
After 7 seconds press and hold down accelerator pedel for 10 seconds...
Atfer 10 seconds the Engine Managment Light will start to flash, at this point remove foot from accelerator.
the Nav is now in diag mode, so let the EML flash for a bit. the press and hold the acclerator pedel down for more than 10 seconds..this will then reset ECU and fuel pump etc......and put them into learning mode.
NOTE: When the EML light is flashing, this is listing possible fault codes... so if you know how to read the fault codes or know the sequences then you can figure out any possible faults with your Nav with out getting the dealer to do it!!
attention to all those who have race chips installed, alisin niyo muna
btw. we will be going up north again this summer.. hopefully you can join us this time![]()
*cydepx44- tnx for the tip sir pero i tried inspecting ung mga hose and evrything looks normal,..

*OJ213 sir after the last step, (the Nav is now in diag mode, so let the EML flash for a bit. the press and hold the acclerator pedel down for more than 10 seconds..this will then reset ECU and fuel pump etc......and put them into learning mode.) do i have to turn the ignition OFF b4 i will start the engine or deretso ko na syang start kahit blinking pa ung Engine Mngt Light?
Update with the largest oilcatchcan in tsikot.com
After almost 5k kms, around 200mL of oil collected.
Turbo has still some traces of oil but not as great when i didnt have the catchcan.. Gravity alone and the large surface area for the oil mist to adhere isnt enough so im installing a pleated media. iL check how far can it collect oil.

Steel wool works great as well as foam. it needs to take up a pretty good part of your catch can to work right, A nice round piece of foam would work great.
Im having crystaline deposits in the water jacket. Could be some leak or worse silicon buildup.
My guess is that casa didnt replaced coolant during 40k PMS.Im going to hook VOM by next week to check electrolysis.
to the honorable NCP members,
just here to ask po if applicable po ba for my 4x2 navara to be body lifted say maybe upto 2" with its stock wheels and tires on it? or do i have change my rims to a bigger one first for stability.? if applicable where po kaya maganda magpa lift and how much po kaya probable cost of it? 15k, 20k? Thanks so much. more power to NCP!![]()
^^^
hello po, you can opt to have a suspension lift instead. A decent 2 inch lift will do the job without scarifacing the stability issue. You can send a PM to OJ. I got mine from him and the comfort improved especially at the back after lifting my truck due to longer suspension travel. Sooner or later you next to change your tires since the continental tires treadwear isnt that good, opt to get a wider tire like 245 width for better ground contact

hi,
totoo ba na problemado raw sa AC ang Navara?
may narinig kasi ako na problemado raw sa AC yung Navara..![]()
NO. turbo, clutch pwede magkaprob. pero a/c? yan ang bread and butter ng nissan.
mga sir bat ganun truck ko. parang walang pwersa..
na release na po yung clutch pero parang naka clutch parin sya.. alak hatak. u
salmat.![]()
where do you guys bring your trucks for suspension jobs? kailangan ng camber alignment and checking of differential and wheel bearing. also, ano effect if i replace my tires to those newer tires used sa mga suv's and pickups na smoother ang grooves meaning tires you normally get on those sedans and compact suv's? i'm currently using micheline tires that are for all-terrain.
