I have one of those china double din touch screens in my Elgrand, The sound is clear and it's very loud but lacks bass, so I am just going to add a good and woofer to get some boom back in the system. I replaced all my OEM speakers with Pioneer 3way in the back and 4 ways in the front.

No advice sa UMC for newer model. Sure lang namin come next year navara trucks will be made by mitsubishi thailand. Thats the agreement between mitsubishi and nissan. Nissan plant at thailand will produce sub compact vehicles of mitsubishi in return. Kaya next year magiging mitsubishi navara na. Haha

Akala ko 2013 pa ung joint venture nila. Planning to buy kasi by jan-feb nxt yr. and is thinking na may newer model na lalabas by early nxt yr. sayang din pag ganun.

Walang newer model sir although they come up with a tech version last month. Its like the chrome edition but this time its equipped with lcd HU, baxk up camera and some other techie stuffs

mga sir, newbies lang po ako dito,and ask ko lang po about my nav. 2months old po sya and 3t ang natatakbo and nakapag palit na din po ako ng mags (265/50/20)ngyn po ask ko po sana kung san nag mumula yung sound nya like(ikk..Ikk..) mga 3days ko na po syang naririnig minsan po wala pag uminit na sya and malayo na natakbo yun lumalabas na sya. pag nag stop sya ay nawawala ng ilang minutes then blik nanaman. pki help naman po kungano po and san nanggagaling yung sound na yon..my nav. is a/t 4x2.thanks po..

Most likely sir hood latch yan, balutan nyo ng electrical tape yung catch loop.

* dhel628: hwag ka mag-alala hindi dahil sa wheel/tire combo mo yan. yung hood latch, tama si sir whistler baka yun lang yun. after lagyan electrical tape at natunog pa din yung ikik, adjust mo yun dalawa hood stops. dun yun sa magkabila gilid ng hood, above ng headlites, yung cylindrical na rubber. kailangan mo sya pihitin para tumaas. hth

Hey guys newbie here. Im planning to get a pick up before the year ends or early nxt yr. Ask ko lng ano plus points ng navara 4x2 AT as compared sa Dmax 4x2 AT. Dmax is my first choice for their reputation for fuel efficiency and reliability. Navara 2nd choice then hilux. I'll be 70% city driving (edsa) and 30% provincial roads baguio (uphill) and ilocos (crater filled rough roads) due to nature of work so 4x2 lang talaga ok na siguro. Navigation gps would really help a lot. 4x4 is not an option because of the cost pati n maintenance. Im not that big on speed ang importante d ako tirikan sa gitna ng kawalan hehe.

yup, hindi pantay yung ilalim nun. as for the side mirrors... may nabibili led hugis greater than, less than (<>), idinidikit sa likod nun mirror plate. grind or rub ata gagawin para magkarun ng small holes dun sa backing nun mirror to allow light to pass thru.

i feel you are just right for the dmax. those that get the navara almost always get it because of its speed (even the girls i know who purposely bought the nav).

anyway, for you the selling point of the nav then should be the comfortable suspension which is second, if not at par with, the mitsu strada. since you won't be doing any major off-roading, i would say that the lower height should make going in and out of the truck easier for you and your family specially the kids. the wife should also appreciate not having to hike up the skirt just to get on the step boards. yet it's still high enough to get you thru city floods that a sedan can't.

as for gps just get a garmin and be a contributor at roadguide.ph

pero if you can stretch the budget a little more, get the 4x4.

+1, the navarra also has bigger cargo area than the dmax.

The dmax only comes with a 4AT compared to the navara's 5AT. Im not using garmin for any of my vehicles, what a suggest if you have a iPhone, download papago m8 philippine. Its more practical.

yes sir i think so too. im only bothered by the acceleration issues of the dmax as some said its awfully slow compared to other pick ups in the market. this could pose a problem for me during overtaking huge buses and trucks on my trips up north in 2 way roads. well anyway if that engine won't quit on me in the middle of nowhere, im good! i'll be having my test drive my test drive on both the dmax and navara next week hehe. i'm thinking about waiting for the all new ranger next year 2.2 4x2 high rider but im concerned with reliability issues of ford and its fuel efficiency. my sister had a ford lynx around 5 years ago and the thing broke down from time to time after only 2 years of everyday use. eventually she traded it for a tucson.
