sir, sa ziebart bubutasin pa sidings ng car though maganda din ang undercoat sa ziebart. You can check your preferred casa para sa rust protection at undercoat kung 3M (normally used) ok lang.other 3 star shops is also offering undercoating using 3M. im not convinced with their diamond gloss, pricey na hindi na sya kasing ganda and to think na may mainyenance period pa. I changed to big bert mas cheaper at mas nahiyang sa car ko

*nmbat: kindly wait for the approval ng registration mo for ncp. Where you able to submit the form?

For me lang ha, wala na ako believe sa rust proofing and undercoating. Diamond gloss, i know what formulation and brand they are using. All brand new vehicles comes with factory applied rust proofing. If you apply another layer of rust proofing, it doesnt serve its purpose already. For undercoating, try looking for a wurth brand na stone guard yun name ng product.

    up ko lng guys,

error code is 1245. I opted to have my ecu repaired than a brand new replacement. My diligence in scouring the forums paid off. I sent my ecu to RAMSA (makati), guess what, he billed me only the freight for the return of the ecu! The guy is a living saint! Turned out that there were some burnt ic connections sa ecu. Sobrang honest nya mga sirs, I was taken aback when he said I owed him nothing. I cant wait to have it installed tomorrow. Heres to keeping my fingers crossed na ayos na lahat. Whew! thats 70k din in savings! this country needs more people like him.

Thats good news wayward, kindly share the number of rasma here for other nav owners reference. Thanks!

Blown ic...... Perhaps there was a mishandled issue there. Its better to look for other dealership in your area so that you have other options in your next pms

    up ko lng guys,

my nav is back to her old self..power is back and smooth delivery. Finally, after almost a month of anxiety and sleepless nights. A word of advice, always seek 2nd opinion when it comes to parts that needs replacement. After the return of my ecu from RAMSA, I had it installed at the casa. They informed me that the ecu is still not working, so I called up RAMSA and informed the owner that the ecu is still defective. Ramsa informed me that a reset is needed to erease the error codes. Now, the thing is ginawa na daw ng casa yung reset but the problem persists and they adviced that I really needed a new ecu and they gave me a discount, 60k na lng daw from the original price of 68k, purchase price na daw nila yan as they sympathize with my plight.

To make the long story short, I pulled out my car from the casa and did the pedal ecu reset. Nawala yung check engine light at ok na nav ko! For the love of God! grabe talaga casa, sympathy my a**! To date, I have not had any probs. Kudos to RAMSA!

BTW heto po address and contact no.
    RAMSA Electronics
1879 Evangelista St, Bangkal Makati, near the corner of Pasay Road. Telephone is 884-2787

On a side note, I am having second thoughts of hooking up my chip. Baka yun din ang culprit bumigay ung injection pump, whats your take guys?

dirty diesel is your culprit, most likely. use oem filter and change it every 10,000 km. the chip only increases rail pressure (and/or injector pulse in some cases), as long as your fuel is clean you'll be fine.

    Hi dhel628,

Before we start, I would like to know which variant so you own? The 4x2 variant is less prone to experiencing limp mode issues since the factory ecu is set at mid power settings.l This means that you are not getting the full potential of the engine, in which case, RCP will help push your engine further. With a 4x4 variant, the factory tune is already at high power, which means that it's almost at it's max potential (taking into consideration the safety margin manufacturers set for every engine they produce).

If you are using a 4x2, there should be no issues, just make sure that you tune the chip one setting at a time and test it before you step it up a notch. There are about 15 settings per dial x 2 so imagine the possible combinations that will suit your needs.

If you drive a 4x4, you can do the same thing but you have to be prepared to have your pressure relief valve modified with a shim, just in case you want to max out the chip.

I'm currently running on C-E settings for my 4x2 and has not experienced limp mode yet. I already played around with it from B-1, C-1, D-1 and now, C-E. D1 for me is the most powerful setting that I used, fuel consumption will be compromised. So I took the power setting down 1 notch, extended the duration of the power, and I'm very satisfied with the power output and fuel consumption. My FC is up to 11.6km/l from 10.7 stock (on C-1 setting, my FC was down to 8.9km/l).

Mga dudes, quick fire question.... what are the measurements for stock 4x2 and 4x4 rims?

    Is 4x2 = 6x5"?
    and 4x4 = 6x6"?
