Hi. Iam planning to buy a strada next week.

Do you guys know a good dealer in metro manila area na "Okay". (in terms of Service ng SA just in case may problem or magada servicing ng casa)

i got my unit sa diamond motors marcos hiway near sta lucia mall... ok naman ang service nila, and kilala na nila ang strada club since ilang members na rin ang kumuha ng unit nila dun.

Sir Ramz, did the service center change your Strada's gear and differential oils? They did on mine during the 1000km PMS.

sir GO1, the service center did only change oil, oil filter and ofcourse regular check-up. About the gear and differential oil change, my SA said that this will be done on 30000 kms, it's good they did the right thing to me

Update to my Uneven height problem, casa said they will put something (sorry i forgot the thing) on the chassis to make my rear side level and it is scheduled to be done on tuesday.
Thanks to sir Ianmitsulancer, went to casa today together. Ibang klase talaga dating mo sir, kita pa lang sayo nung SA ko ini-schedule kaagad ang pagaayos nung problem...no more explanations di na kami nagsayang laway heheheh...bilib na ko sayo sir

It is good to know that the service center has finally stopped unnecessarily changing those fluids during the 1K PMS .

Sorry I wasn't able to meet with you and sir Ian yesterday afternoon. I was at Jeff's Offroad shop having my rims and tires replaced and right after that I drove to Goodyear Servitek to have the tires and rims balanced. Took me the whole afternoon to complete upgrading my rims and tires.

I upgraded my stock 17" x 7" rims to 16" x 8" Dick Cepek polished rims and installed my Sorento's 265/70/16" Goodyear A/T tires. My Sorento has gone back to its stock Hankook tires .

Went trailing this afternoon and went back to the same spot where my Strada with its previous H/T tires had trouble negotiating the steep slope. The trail is more wet because of the rains. My Strada, this time with A/T tires, was able to climb up without so much tire spin.

Hi guys, planning to buy a Strada this October, the 4x2 GLX. I just want to ask the Strada owners here if its a good truck ba talaga and if all kinks of the previous 2007 Strada were fixed in the 2008 model. And tanong na rin ako if mas maganda ba bumili dyan sa Manila kasi Iloilo ako eh. Thanks

Welcome to Tsikot. Do a search here in the Forum and you will find a lot of comparison between Pickup Trucks including the Strada. Futhermore, there's 357 pages now on this thread which gives a lot of information, facts and opinions from different Strada Owners.
I guess it does not matter where you buy your unit. Just check which S/A will give you the best price along with the goodies.

Sir Ooba99, you mean A/T tires . I really felt a significant difference in traction between the H/T and A/T during yesterday's trailing. Next time siguro will switch to M/T when the time comes for me na to replace the All-Terrains.

Sir, tanong ko lang po kung, is it advisable to put a weight on the back of strada. Specially kasi pag driver lang palagi ang sakay ng strada parang floating ang unit sa malubak na daan. I think a dummy weight will be good to make it stable. The question is "what is the appropriate weight?"

sir, Bridgestone HT pa ba tires mo? iba kasi ang daanan from davao-gensan, daming lubak... Try lang po changing your tires to AT and improve your rear and front shocks.. So far i don't experience unusual sa Strada ko... (sana wala na nga)



Sir BlueMica paki post na lang d2 kung kelan ang punta mo ng davao... i hope 1st or 3rd saturday of the month lang...

Yes, the Strada is a good truck- especially when you releasing the clutch, the torque will come rushing in! as far as the kinks, admittingly, the uneven height by a small difference of approx 1.5mm is still there- otherwise, it doesnt pose any danger and no accidents reported to this date. you can get it at your dealer na rin at iloilo- there is a one-pricing policy- but it will all depend on you as long as it is a franchised dealer of MMPC. Also, please inquire about it as early as NOW. there have been reports of a possible price increase for the Strada line-up for october. FYI, The Lancer EX and the Adventure will definitely increase by then!

nismo26- i think TSCP will be off to a great last quarter salvo! i think something is cooking up october, the baguio fun run on november and the grand anniversary eb on december. i do hope you can make it sa november as you get to meet me in my hometown! hehehehe!

Thats ok, im sure you will get your strada in due time... the dealer has more than 2months to deliver that truck to you. tamang-tama break in para sa truck mo. Have you asked with other dealers? baka meron kung sakali sa inventory nila... hehehe...

You are not the only one whom i encountered on the waiting list! Sir Romdm has been waiting for over a month now at Carworld and i'm checking to see if Motorplaza Calasiao/Urdaneta has a Silver GLX on their inventory. What i'm pretty sure of the other colors are available- red, blue, black and perhaps white.
