Mine is a 3.2 GLS Sport A/T and had been with me for a little over a year now. Recently, after more than 5 cycles of full tanks, my fuel consumption, as indicated in my multi-information display, settled at an average of 7.4 km/L. This is pure city driving. My regular route is Quezon City to Manila and back.

i attest to thepatriarch . i was with him at the Skyway when he had the chance with a proud grin only to be suppressed by the kumander! :peace: (hint: after the tagaytay funrun)

si TT Guru Moxxxs? ah, no doubt about it.

and someone posted a picture here (pls backread) of the Strada speedometer that ECLIPSED its way to 200kph- the maximum reading possible! Presumably, in Moxxxs' point of view is Confidence Inspiring! hehehe

Mga Sirs, we decided to put 18's dunlop tires na 265/70 at 18's rims sa Strada. Magtatanong lang ako if it won't pose any problem sa riding comfort or does it have a negative effect sa suspension. Hope to hear feedbacks regarding this matter. Thanks.

mga sir, just for the conversation.... most i took my strada was at 180 at sctex, but that was before it was opened to the public and the tires were 265/70r16 HT. with my current set of tyres(265/75r16 MT) the most that i was able to go was at 170. kinda hard to go faster because of teh bigger tyres adding more to the drag, and i won't want to compromise my braking distance since MT's are very notorius for needing a rather longer braking distance as compared to AT's and HT's

Just remember to always check your tire speed ratings. AT tires usually are S rated (180 kph max) and MT tires are Q rated (170 kph max).

I've tried 180 kph before and it was easy even with the 2.5. I was testing the engine power and was quite surprised, but, I'll never try again, for safety reasons.

    Happy speeding

Mine too is Strada 2007 black color GLS Super Sports, of course i am a proud and satiesfied owner but as a new member of this FORUM, gustong kong maging responsableng member by posting my observations.

This is actually my second Mitsubishi car brand.

Good day to all proud Owners of L200 Strada.

Last year, i shared above quoted message which then according to mechanics of Freeway Cab was "learning process" daw ng computer which up until now is still on "learning process stage" kasi nandoon pa yung sound.

The sound is now lound and clear enough to be heard, its like a liquid leaking heavily from punctured high-pressure-hose. It is not there when the engine is started when cold then it will come-out kapag hot na siya. Still intermittent ang sound, hihina, lalakas, mawawala then babalik.

Mga ka-STRADA o mga naka 4M41 intercooler-turbo engine, may ganito rin ba kayung experience? Please share so that our units will be fixed without trial and error on the part of mechanics.

I was adviced to bring it to CASA on Monday dahil fresh from training daw yung kanilang Chief Mechanic. I will share the result.

About FC in SCtex ay 9.2 L/100 Km at 2,000 rpm at 100km/H meaning 10.87 km/l. Kapag 2,500 rpm at laro sa 110 to 130 km/H ay nasa 9.5 to 9.6 L/100km. Kapag City driving bale average of 10L/100km. I think this is consistent sa brochure ng Mitsubishi for Strada Sport.

Ang odometer reading ng unit ko ay 7,991 for one year kasi every 60/15 days ang rotation ko at during leave ko lang siya nagagamit mainly travelling to Baguio City, Manila, Subic and Clark.

Again, good day and Godspeed to all and thank you for this forum.

*Ranch, hello there! Welcome! we are glad to know about this. pls stay tuned for mini-EB schedules so you can meet the strada owners and know more about the Baguio Fun Run. Yes, you can meet up with them even if you are waiting for your ride. May i know what variant and color did you order po?

As far as the FC is concerned, yes, IMO, there is a possibility that this will (very) slightly affect the FC due to the additional weight from the tire package but it will still be fuel efficient though. A good example is sir ThePatriarch- im sure he can say something about this po.

    Thanks. Drive*earth Inspired!

    *GerNavallo- hello po sir.

based on my observation when i rode with sir G01's 3.2 GLS Sport M/T, i didnt hear any unusual sound throughout the ride from Baguio-Manila-Baguio. Considering that the tech of Freeway Motors is "fresh" from training, like you, im looking forward to hear their explanation. Thanks for letting know about it po.

Should you be in Baguio soon, let me know, EB tayo po. thanks.

I was actually in BC last Sat & Sun then again last Wednesday looking for a house to buy.

Sa 10th of Oct pa sana ang byahe ko pero my return to jobsite has been requested, urgent daw kuno. So 5th ang re-scheduled departure date.

My wife will bring it to CASA on Monday and i will share to all the diagnosis(ses) and repair(s) done.

Thanks and definitely on 3rd week of December, i shall be in BC again to visit my son studying in SLU and i will get in-touch with you.

Congrats sa new GLX mo, sir Ranch. Hope to see you in Baguio during the Fun Run.

Here is a website that is very useful when changing the size of tires and mags: http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html.
