*Marktriton (btw, are you the Marktriton at the TG forums po?)

in addition to what he has mentioned, this is actually common knowledge within the club as far as the uneven stance and the squeaking springs is concerned. i do believe this can be done within warranty.

with the clutch, you can always adjust it. it was a breeze driving the Strada GLX of Ramz2419 since the adjusted clutch is very shallow. also, make sure that your floor mats are NOT along the passageway of the clutch pedal.

The Strada, like any other car is man-made and prone to errors. But yes, since it is Brandnew, we can expect a certain degree of quality.

Canopies are very useful... i think you also posted this in the forums about the air passageway between the dual cab and the canopy itself. From the looks alone, it creates a "parachute" of windspeed (drag?) that causes the speed harness. to be specific, yup, lets wait for the feedback - i know of two BOSBs- Sirs Boybit and DonT.

Land Cruiser 200 4.5 D-4D V8?! kudos to the Strada since it can still keep up with it... but i wont be suprised if the LC200 will leave you behind since you will be outnumbered with its 282horsepowered engine!

*tagalnasaabroad, welcome sir, looking forward to seeing your new ride!

*jashty_enzo and LR777, life goes on considering that you didnt get your desired color and variant... but i must say that it was destiny that brought those trucks to your life... enjoy!
yup im the marktriton sa TG, nakikipag away sa CAr MAgic, thanks for the reply

you could ask Sir dadz(our member from bangkok) regarding the piggyback system and rechipping of the ECU....Im sure It could help you put the NAV in your rear view mirorr....Wag lang po mag paparechip and mag iinstall ng piggyback ang navara... But either way Let's say sa SCTEX nyo naman yun nakasabay wherein the top speed will take effect...di nyo na siguro need ng engine upgrade...
im using M/T 3.2 gls sport po, ur right cguro mabagal pa ako mag drive, defensive driver kasi ako, ayoko mayupi yun baby ko, heheh , .

pero khit na matulin ang navarra, il go for the strada, gwapo ng dating eh , pwed sa city at rural areas, kun baga sa tao , flexible hehehe, navarra kasi parang old frontier, =)

hope it helps...please do update us on this doc thanks!

    LR7³

better din na sa trusted stations kayo magfull tank... madami kalokohan sa mga gas stations lalo na yung nilalagyan ng tubig para madilute ang diesel... kawawa ang makina kapag nalagyan ng ganun

    Hello mga sirs,
I have a stock bed liner, question mayroon kayang drain hole ang strada bed, kasi even I have the Roll-Up bed cover I can traced water weeps on the side of the bed liner during heavy rain plus the aluminum slots is not 100 percent water proof.

For the water contaminants in our diesel , this is due to condensation that took place from the refinery-transport tankers-outlets station storage tank. Service station tanks are not insulated thoroughlyfrom the sorrounding ground, so condensation can't be prevented unless a continuous heater of the tank is fitted. It is critical to fill up your car when the service station tanks is almost empty or strip dry, also when gasoline contaminates diesel it can cause "blow by" to your engine, "finito musica"

*Doc Boz, sorry this came late. i'm glad that your query has been responded quickly... The diesel that we have on sale may have some impurities as i have noted an article that was posted on the newspaper before. i'll just have to look for that though.

Here is my theory: Yup, the impurities of the fuel may have been accumulated on the fuel filter making it congested for the purified fuel to be delivered to the engine. As a result, the speed of the fuel to be injected to the combustion chamber is not reaching the required 135MPa (megapascals) giving you compromissed power.

Yup, i agree with LR777 and Drave, have it checked at SFM- especially the Fuel System and probably the computer box- to have the diagnostics of the air/fuel mixture checked. HTH

ps. i hope you saw my response at the Private threads... hehehe...

LR777, yup, Doc Boz and Sir Manolo are using 3.2 GLS Sport M/T models like yours... Doc Boz got his almost at the same time with Doc Ooba99. Hint: The Magwheel design for 2007.

I would like to confirm that there is NO drain hole on the Stock bedliner. so if there is water in it, simply drive to an incline and the water will pour out!

I may not too sure about this, but the pickup bed without the bedliner has a drain hole at the edge... if those with the Strada GL may confirm this...

AFAIK, carryboy released a new design of the roll up cover that is more water resistant. i think i saw the advertisement on C! magazine. Perhaps any of you can give them a visit and inqure...

    OT-
Mitsubishi hasn't had much luck in producing V8s. Mitsubishi only made 1 model- the 8A80 4.5 for the Short-lived Proudia and Dignity models in Japan was produced for about 2-3 years and was stopped due the currency crisis in the 90s... If it was successful, it would have made its way to the Pajero too. that was gasoline- what more for Diesel.

Yep, sir MarkTriton, looking forward to have you on board sa club... How does your unit look like with the canopy? can you post a picture or two? TIA...

Uyy..TSCP pala sorry..nalito po ako sa M(montero) at T(the)..thanks po sir ThePatriarch.. I'll find my way nalang regarding club's joining mechanics..

don po sa concern ni RTS re: bedliner weep hole parang wala nga atang butas. carry boy installed a roller lid on my unit and there was this pvc pipe drain coming from the moving lids storage box (merong mechanism ata don where the lids rolled together). i thought the box serves as a drain basin also then water goes into the pipe and terminates through the bed liner material. Either the pipe is bored through the bed metal or it stops somewhere it's anybody's guess. only carry boy knows how it worked..

    Now that would be intresting....

I hope they could pursue that V8 Di-D someday....so that the king of the dessert could get back its throne or better yet maybe someone would inject american genes to a jap mitsu engineer and put that V8 Di-D to the Strada....hehe just thinking out loud....

Thank you guys for all the inputs. I went to the casa this afternoon. After connecting the computer box to their diagnostic 'laptop', no trouble code came out according to the SA. Although he noticed the intermittent loss of power during acceleration. I was asked to leave my truck in order for them to thoroughly inspect the system and isolate the problem. The SA thinks its the SCV in relation to dirty fuel, but since no trouble code came out, he wants to make sure it's really the problem. So, I'll just bring back my truck when I'm free again. Ingat muna ako sa pag-oovertake.
