sir, i think that was mike18 who had that problem/observation. we got to check his ride during one of the eb and had him rev his car, the turbo kicked in naman, you can here the difference sa whinning ba tawag doon. but also have it checked na rin, maybe nag adjust na ang car ninyo.
welcome to the thread, hope you can join the club so we can learn from you and vice versa.
Hello BOSB's!
*Nismo26,
Kakatuwa naman ng pictures! Nyahahaha.... Both black, same plate except the last digit of numbers. Same model. The other difference is the rims and the chrome in the grille.
Pero must have turned other people's heads.

hello...
like to share some development on my steering and handling issue..
the dealer just recently made some measurement sa steering system as instructed by MMPC and set some properties to "'standard specs" for 3 days (mon-wed). medyo lumala pa ng konti yung vibration and now the vehicle pulls to the right-not much but enaf to get you off course.
i also requested the service manager to personally road test my unit and he told me that the steering is the same with all the strada he has driven. unfortunately, i dont subscribe to the idea that if it's the same with other strada then it's normal. Anyway, an engineer from MMPC is scheduled for a visit here next week. hopefully a more thorough diagnosis will be done and wish that a solution is in sight.
for those 2008 GLS Sports owners, do you notice unusual vibration on your steering wheel? pls give me your feedback. im getting desperate.
Ito na mga pics! 6350 per tire tapos un hangin nitrogen daw para hnd matatagtag (not sure hydrogen or nitrogen hehehe) dad ko gumwa eh pag uwi ko boooom! aun na..
ito link kayo na bhala tumingin http://s280.photobucket.com/albums/k...t=DSC01121.jpg
My 2008 GLS Sport Strada has been with me for over a month now and I've never felt any unusual vibrations on the steering wheel. The only thing that I noticed, paticularly my wife who also drives it, is that the steering is not as light as my Sorento's. I've also driven it to rough roads but haven't experienced the uncomfortable steering issue you mentioned in your earlier posts.
Great mods, bro! Good choice for tires too.
Time to get new mags for those tires. Get the 16x7 or 16x8 sizes.
BTW, palagay ko, mas maganda kung wag mong ipakita yung white lined label nung tires. Black kasi ang ride mo, tapos very dark tint pa. Mas astig kung all-black din ang tires mo. Pero sayang yung nitrogen na nilagay. Siguro, gawin mo na lang pag pinalitan mo yung mags.
But, it's just my opinion. Don't mind me.![]()
im not planning to buy new mags masaya na ko dun hehehe! gastos lang =) btw un vibrations narandaman ko un on my way to angeles.. hehehe bitwan mo steering wheel nakakatawa tingan parang kiti kiti hehe
guys nga pala i was at a party last nyt tapos pag gisng ko knina nakita ko bumper ko mern ng gasgas im so pissed! alagang alaga auto tapos pag gisng mo may makikita kang ganito.. anu kaya pwd gawin here's the pic... http://i280.photobucket.com/albums/k...s/DSC07209.jpg
sana kaya remedyohan....
crazed_balisong: nice tires sir. but just like what drave suggested, it's better to have wider rims on those size tires. the width of the tires and rim size is really streching the safety of your car/rims (correct me if im wrong on this). Although kaya naman. the stance of your tires would look better in wider rim size.
O.T. lang, checked out the pictures of your ride, ganda ganda. isa lang i noticed, one of the pictures with the commemorative plate has "Toyota" plate cover on a Mitsubishi vehicle. hehehhe.
*av8or5 – Thanks sir, you’re probably right, nag-adjust na car ko, I remember once, nag-overtake ako nag-kickin naman yung turbo yun nga lang not on the rpm range I used to observe. Anyway, I’ll mention this sa casa once I bring my truck in for maint just to be sure.
*ianmitsu - Will do sir, thanks!
