Sorry ngayon lang nagpost ulit. i found this in the internet, its a computation of the ideal tire width size depending on the Rim wheel width. its usually for passenger car tire and width. pero similar din naman yung pang truck tires.
    its computed this way

    Wheel rim width x 25.4 x 1.1 = Minimun tire width size
    Wheel rim width x 25.4 x 1.3 = Maximum Tire width size

For the stock 16x6 it would be
    6 x 25.4 x 1.1 = around 168
    6 x 25.4 x 1.3 = around 198

since most tires for truck and SUV have tires that exceed the width size. i guess iba yung computation but similar lang ito.
my ralliart rims is 16x8 yet nagkasya yung 205 width ng stock tires but i plan to replace it soon. Hindi siya recommended na width for the rims.narrower tires are very unstable especially with the power the strada has, i always feel it twitch sometimes on lubak na roads when i am driving without any load.

    Thanks for all the advice!!!

I am happy to report that when I angaged the 4x4, I went full-throttle until 80kph lang (ran into some traffic na eh) then during slower speeds, I dis-engaged the 4x4 then went to C-5 to go at cruising speeds of 140kph on my 4x2 mode. whew... good thing I didn't try it while on 4x4!

with regards to the u-turn with the 4x4 on paved roads, It was a slow u-turn and when the steering sounded weird, I immediately straightened out the steering wheel. I won't do that one again! Hahaha!

Just a question.. I saw a lot of pix with 4x4s on big bolder surfaces and their front steering wheel would be turned either extremely to the left or right. How come they can do that and we can't do it on our strada? Is it something about the type of 4x4 transmission they are using? Thanks!

Try nyo po these easy steps sa mga Strada nyo baka gumana rin at malaman nyong may built-in turbo timer na pala ang Strada nyo:

    1. Before turning your engine off, and while the key is in the ignition, press and release button 2 (the right button) of your MMAS car alarm remote control(the one with the black casing and red diamond design).

    2. If you did it successfully, your signal lights/hazard will flash once, the doors will be unlocked, and the engine will remain idling (for 1 minute).

    3. Open the door, get down from the vehicle, close the door, then press and release button 1 to engage the alarm and lock the doors.

    4. If you did it successfully, the doors will lock, alarm will engage, engine still idling (for 1 minute), then your signal lights/hazard will flash every 5 or 10 seconds until the engine stops.

    AYOS!

My experiences with the the Mitsubishi TT (turbo timer, hehehehe- audi???) and Auto-Start function was Ridiculous with the Strada GLS and Pajero Field Master during their displays at the Mitsubishi Motorplaza (MPI) showroom here.

After looking around with the showroom unit for about 20minuites I decided to lock the unit with the transmitter and return the key to the guard. After thinking that i locked the car with the transmitter, i started the car by accident! i was shocked that a few buttons can start the car although i was already aware of the function and its benefits! so i asked assistance from my friend- the lead sales manager who instead gave me a demo of the turbo timer as well. at first, i thought he was going to do the combination of 40-lives for the CONTRA family computer game. but when i was able to do it myself it worked- and that was last year!

i encourage all to join the TT EB! as for me... il see what i can to be there coming all the way from Baguio. thanks

My guide usually is, the tire tread width should be near the rim width. If you have 16x8 rims, the ideal tread width is 265 (8 in.). But you can fit 245s to 285s with it.

Bale sa farm lang naman ako pumupunta 2 to 3 times a week which is 13km from my house. Tapos city driving na lang sa Tagbilaran. Ang FC ko kung papuntang farm ay 10-11km/l at 8km/l kung sa city lang.

Mga Bossing! Today (Jan 8. pero Jan 9 na. di pa kasi ako natutulog) is one of the happiest days of my life! I finally got my strada! whoopee!! GLX cool silver. right after getting it from the dealer, went to some trusted shops near my place (Cainta) and installed rain gutters and reverse sensors. got the rain gutter for a bargain (i think) for P1,200 for a deflector brand. and the reverse sensor for P3,200, spacekey brand. i've ordered a sports lid narin and fender flares from carryboy. will post pics asap. yun lang po! just want to share with you how super happy i am! :D

btw, would anyone know po pala if the mags of the new pajero fieldmaster would fit the strada? yung six spokes na may tatak na ralliart? yung gawa po ng rota. may naka-try na po ba nito? hindi po ba parang luluwa yung mags sa fender pag nilagay sa strada? medyo pasok kasi yung gitna (yung kinakabitan ng bolts) compared to what strada stock-mags have. plan ko sana magpalit ng mags and lalakihan ko ng konti ang gulong. siguro hanggang 245/70/16 lang muna ako sa gulong. baka malaki mawala na power kasi sa strada ko since 2.5 lang sya. anyway, any suggestions and help po would be much appreciated. Thank you so much! :D

Im so happy! (hehe) :D :D
