Sir fms, if you are planning to replace your headlight bulbs with HID kailangan kabitan mo rin ng projector housing para hindi sabog. Kung wala yung projector, sabog talaga yung magiging bato ng ilaw with HID. Not aware of any club member who had installed a projector housing for HID upgrade sa strada nila. Medyo mahal ata, or walang availabe na projector housing for the strada. Plus there may be electrical warranty issues pa.

sori moxxxs tagal ang reply ko, busy kasi hehe! anyway, ang spring ata sa front ang matagtag, kaya lagi akong maingat nalang sa lubak and the squeaking sound comes from the rear leaf spring ata. im complaining kasi hindi naman ganito ang isuzu pickups namin kahit luma na. hindi kaya luma nag binigay sakin na unit? or test drive unit kaya?

sir fms, regarding po sa squeeking sound from the leaf spring, balik nyo sa casa.. they'll fix it for free. last pms ko papagawa ko sana yung saken kaso hapon na natapos pms eh medyo matagal daw yung process kaya balik ko na lang.. babaklasin yung leaf spring tas may lalagay na plastic yata para mawala yung squeeking sound.. hindi naman siguro sir luma or test drive unit yan.. btw, ano na po ba mileage nyo?

just bring it back to the dealership. Write a formal complaint, if ayaw nila gawin, write MMPC for them to action your concern. I doubt they gave you a test vehicle. How many KM did you car travel when you brought it out of the dealership?

gusto ko nga sana maglagay ng projector housing, kaso lang wala dito sa leyte. syempre gusto ko rin safe ang kasalubong ko. baka pwede mo ako tulungan sir kung saan sa manila meron housing. ill be going there next week.

Sir fms, balik mo sa casa mo at ireklamo. Usually, they put a special lubricant or silencer na tinatawag nila (not so sure) to address the squeakiness of the leafspring. AFAIK, dito sa Metro Manila, they do this for free.

sana nga ma solve ang problem ko, kasi im planning to sell it and have a dmax nalang, hopefully not coz i like the features of strada. medyo hindi rin kasi maganda after sales service sa leyte. hindi nga nila na fix ang problem ko sa alarm kasi masyadong sensitive kahit nasa lowest ang setting. nakukulitan na nga sakin ang service kaya pinatanggal ko nalang ang shock sensor. na bad trip din ako sa antirust nila, palpak ang trabaho, kaya pina-backjob ko. medyo marami akong hindi magandang experience hehe! sana hindi na maulit para bumuli pa rin ako ng mitsu

ganun ba, tagal pala. siguro paayos ko nalang during the next change oil. mileage ko ngayon is 5k+. city driving lang kasi, ang hindi naman everyday. pagkuha ko ng unit, less than 100 naman ang mileage nya. but sabi ng mekaniko, pwede naman nila palitan daw ang odometer ng bago. zero pa nag reading. sana bago ang unit ko hehe!

mga less than 100 ang mileage nung kinuha ko, so ok naman sya. but sabi nga ng mitsu sa cebu, kaya daw nilang palitan ang odometer ng bago, order lang daw yun. sana hindi nila ginawa yun. kasi kawawa naman ang customer, sakto ang binayad nya tapos hindi kontento sa unit. at hindi bibili ulit ng mitsu kung hindi maganda ang after sales nila.

si sir drave ang naglalagay ng oil or sa casa? anong oil naman ang ginamit kaya para ma apply ko nalang.

putting oil to eliminate the sound is a temporary solution. once the oil dries up the sound comes back again. it has to do something with the leaf pack itself, there should be a solution since other cars with leaf spring suspension does not have this noise problem.

Hello again, sir fms. I have a suggestion to make. Why don't you band and organize yourself together with other strada owners in your place, or even other mitsubishi owners. This way you can share your problems with your ride, exchange views, and act collectively against the lousy after-sales performance by your local dealer.

You have to complain to them and if they don't heed to your verbal complaint, then do it in writing. Kalampagin mo sila. This way, they may realize their shortcomings. More so if you are acting as a group.

I symphatize with you with your predicament that you feel sorry for the after sales attitude of your local casa and not necessarily with the product that you bought from them. Your problem has a remedy and the local casa has the opportunity to turn you into a satisfied customer.

If by chance you are in Manila, I invite you to join us in one of our mini-EB of our club. I'm sure that you will learn a lot of things from that meet up.

Sir fms = Tama ka dun.. the buyer must be satisfied.. hindi naman cguro gagawing ng mitsubishi yun or the dealer na palitan yung odometer.. pero hindi din natin alam. Sir Im the one who wright on this thread na my ride is uneven high.. medyo mababa yung left side.. Naayos naman nila medyo matagal nga lang mga 1 month ako nagantay ng parts from thailand pa daw... pinalitan nila ng 2coil spring and 2 leaf spring, ngayon ok na sya. under warranty naman sya eh. sir try mong papalitan yung leaf spring mo pwede naman yan nasa diskarte lang yan..

Regarding bout the squeaking sound on our leaf spring... WD40 ata ang katapat... I've experienced this and got disappointed, as usual!
Just a simple spray and it's all gone...

To regain smoothness of your ride.. i think and you should
adjust your tire pressure to 35psi as what other BOSB members
adviced me and it really works...

Sir fms & Sir nismo26 - I will try to contact the chief engineer of MMPC regarding your problem squicking sound on the leaf spring.. what if this problem is pabalik balik lang?.. what will they do to this problem? sya kasi yung kausap ko kaya napalitan yung 2 coil spring and 2 leaf spring ko.. pero i never saw him personally kaya nga may utang pa ako sa kanya.. hopefully this week or next week puntahan ko sya sa planta to give some gift para may kapit na tayo.. hehehehe

btw, may nakita akong pic sa isang triton forum sa thailand wherein me nilalagay sila na plastic in between leafs. sa malaysian forums,me nag mention na me "silencer kit" na kinakabit ang casa nila for customers who had complaints sa leafspring for free under warranty. dito ba sa pinas eh yun na rin po ba nilalagay? free of charge na rin po ba yun dito? ang mga new models, meron na kayang ganun?

I really suggest you write a formal complaint on your experience with your unit as well as the experience you received from your dealer. Writing to MMPC, would help you out and MMPC will coordinate with your dealer. Yan din ang problem with dealers, to lessen their work/coordination with MMPC, they will give all these excuses.

One great thing about clubs/forums is you can learn from everyone.

On the silencer, i dont think any of the bosbs had it yet, but they mentioned needing this on their last PMS, they are just waiting for the parts to arrive and will be installed in their trucks all for free.

+ 10 ako dito. ganito din ginawa ko, I make a complaint directly to MMPC para magising mga dealer pag walang ginawa yung dealer or binabalewala nila yung complaint mo.. the MMPC will call directly to the dealer and ask them to assist you and to facilitate everything. Medyo nagalit nga lang yung Sales manager and service advisor na kausap ko. pero ngayon ok na ulit at nagsorry pa sila. I explain to them my side.. laging what if this happen to you? sana wag naman yun and adlib ko... hehehehe
