ganyan talaga siguro ang strada, with squeaking sound hehe! anyway i should try your suggestion by using oil and the tire pressure. tnx bro!

My strada's left set of leaf springs started squeeking after doing some mild offroading today. Wala naman squeeking sound sa right side. Last time I went offroading to another location the leaf springs also emitted squeaking sounds but it eventually disappeared. The squeaking sound this time is a lot noisier than last time. I will try to spray oil on the leaf springs tomorrow and hopefully the squeaking sound will disappear.

That's it sir!! wat's worrying and potentially dangerous is when you hit potholes-- nag cha-change direction yung truck! potentially dangerous if you're speeding 80kph plus.

i dont generalize but i've tested several 2008 strada already, all the same unsual behavior.

Mga bosb ask ko lang , I went to madison banawe yesterday, mag ppalit na kase ako ng horn pero when I asked abt the stebel e 1200 na raw , tapos when i said na baket ung iba ko alam na nag stebel just got it for like 850-900? sabe baka fake raw :P anyway iniisep ko naman baka tumaas na talaga pricing since lahat tumaas na bilihin. kase i wnet to autoplus megamall 1160 ung stebel pero w/o installation.

question #1 may alam ba kayo na mas mura ung stebel or ganun na talaga presyuhan niya?

question #2 hindi naman kay ma void waranty kung sa madison ko na rin pa install?

stebel magnum is available sa c3 4x4 at 600 then 300 ang kabit... ganun talaga price nun, binobola ka lang ng kausap mo...

Location is Itogon, Benguet. The creek where I went to is just below the Municipal Hall. Saan kayo sa Camp 7? I have a friend who lives there.

Not yet sure kung makakasali ako with my wife and my two kids sa Pinatubo Trip. It will depend on my work load. Hopefully hindi ako masyado loaded during that time para makasama na rin ako at ma-meet yung mga fellow BOSBs sa Strada Club.

ganyan din nangyari sakin sir. leaf spring nga ang problem nyan at ininsist ko sa planta na palitan nila buong leaf spring ko, lalu na nung nakita ko walang clip ung mga brackets.

but now na replaced na ung leafspring at nilagyan ng silencer, wala ng squeeking sound. ibalik mo na lang sa dealer para papalitan agad habang under warranty.

no mike, i'm referring to my front wheel suspension on the driver side. that's a coil spring right and between those spring is where the shock is located. i've been through with this squeaking sound of leaf spring and this was rectified already by just aligning the springs. my problem right now is on the front suspension. i have this experience before on my car where the problem is the that thingy placed between the shock and its mounting. some sort of a spacer. but i don't know right now if this is the same case. right now pinapahinga ko muna yong strada and switch to my SF.

does anyone know which side does the strada supposedly leans over to? friday afternoon napansin ko that there's something weird with my strada and napansin ko nga na it was lower...way lower on the driver's side. i'm almost in my 5000km mark and now lang to nangyari because i usually take a lot of pictures of my strada and it's stature used to be really straight.
does anyone know the reason why this could happen? wala naman nakitang mali sa 1000km check up. malaking gulo ba to? hassle kasi, i use my strada everyday to get to work. advise anyone?

there are some stradas who lean toward the driver side. mine is an example in particular... i informed the casa and they checked, lampas nga sa allowable variance nila. they ordered the parts and scheduled to replace the suspension tomorrow, free of charge. wala naman safety issue ito, di lang maganda tingnan. the casa said that this sometimes happen kung palagi driver lang ang sakay and the fact that the fuel tank is located sa driver's side.

Hehehe......You have a sharp eye. Already thought that it looks like a mustache even before reading your comment . Tried to fit them at the corners but the shape doesn't match the curvy profile of the headlight so I just had them centered to the front bumper.

Update on the squeaky leaf springs..........The squeaking sound disappeared after having my strada washed. Pressurized water was sprayed on the undersides including the leaf springs so I am thinking that maybe the squeaky sounds were caused by sand particles lodged in between the springs.

same tayo bro, 5k din mileage ko... i think di naman serious matter ito bro... quality control ng thailand is to blame... they somehow failed to check the components installed sa strada natin kung pantay... look at the bright side, at least bago suspension natin! hahahaha
