*mongaddi, the BOSBs can help you... just PM thepatriarch on tips and suggestions on how to form the club. kami naman, despite being busy, its the company of the club that keeps everyone alive! if u are based in manila, ask if u can meet up with him and the rest of the BOSBs. we have this disease called Stradaphilia and YOU can turn this to Outlandaphilia!

il try to meet up with baguio-based outie owner jazon soon also.

opo sir abunggo, saan po kayo based?

The strada, is a MULTIFACETED vehicle that can serve the purpose of loading up heavy cargo, interor comfort and ride of a car,it its styling won't embarass you on a formal occasion.

Mitsubishi Motors Philippines recently made a tie-up with BPI family bank where in the out of country filipinos like you can purchase a mitsubishi while you are still at work. Go to the MMPC website www.mitsubishi-motors.com.ph as this has been an entry at their press releases. You can also go to the nearest BPI-FB where u are. Yes, like you, i'm eagerly anticipating the Montero Sport (aka Thai's G-Wagon) at the Bangkok Motorshow.

Looking forward to your ride. and join us!

    To all the BOSBs...
To all the Guests in this Thread...
To all those intending to buy a Pick-up Truck...

    Your attention please...

The current Mitsubishi L200/Strada/Triton/Strajero/Storm was rated the best - 4 Stars in the Recent Euro NCAP Crash Test Results for adult occupant protection as compared to its competitors- the Nissan Navarra and the Isuzu D-Max.

As all the vehicles received disappointing child and pedestrian protection scores, it is up to us all to be responsible truck users to make our streets safer.

    d'oh!

i did search the site though. and i didn't recall anyone talking about it on this thread unless i'm outdated... ehehehe... i'm outdated indeed!

looking at the brighter side of this, there was a later PR entry at the website that nissan navarra improved their airbag software and they went to 3 stars- The strada is still better with 4 stars.

since this is redundant, im very sorry.

No apologies, necessary, ian. It was not my intention to water down the enthusiasm, but rather inform you that it is not a new news item, "recent" is still accurate adjective to use to describe it. Secret post lang naman yun, eh. hehehe. And nothing wrong with updating our thread readers, whom are new to the thread and do not have access to that information. Sobrang haba na kasi ng thread natin, eh.

Yeah, our stradas outbeat navarra in that test in the adult occupant protection, garnering 4 stars out of 5, and navarra getting a pathetic half star and D-max one and a half star.

ehehehehehe... thank you for the enlightenment... i do appreciate it...

yup- the strada aced out the rest indeed...

as i was waking down session, i saw 4 stradas- mostly 2.5 GLS 4x4 and 1 2.5 GLX 4x4- since they were in motion, i couldn't approach them! but there was one parked 4x4 2.5 GLS- i took advantage of grabbing my post-it and wrote the club's multiply site and pasted it on the windshield. i hope that will work...

Also, baguio people are still amazed with the strada- i can tell because it is still a head-turner! Including Pauland's truck btw.
