guys need info on 4x4 strada models.... balak ko kasi bumili ng strada this may.. so i'll appreciate ur comments and info.. thanks

i have a gls 4x4 and to tell you the truth, hindi mo rin gagamitin yan sa road and sa hauling if you go around the city or even out of town.
but, since walang abs/tcs or any driver assistance system ang strada, i opted for the 4x4. i use it sa zigzags and kung walang all wheel drive lagi ako nagspi-spin out or i lose control. yung 4L naman ginagamit ko lang tuwing nagbababa ako ng boat or ng jetski through sand or riprap. pag walang 4L lumulubog talaga ako sa sand lalo na magaan ang likod kasi pick up. i use the 4H pag basa yung road or i'm on gravel at high speed pero on dirt and other kinds of rough surfaces, hindi ko na pinapasok sa 4x4. siguro dahil nasanay ako mag drive ng mga 4x4 dati kaya i always use the 4H kasi iba lang talaga ang handling pero the 4L is rarely used.

The weight of the passenger is also included in the payload so pag maraming sakay na passengers eh magiging lesser ang sacks of rice na puedeng ikarga sa strada......

If I am with 4 passengers at 75kg each plus me at 100kg, that means bawas ng 8 sacks (50kg *) ang pwede kong lang i-hoard, hehehe. 12 sacks na lang. Hmmm... pang kain ko lang ito sa malalakas kong kumain na mga anak, hahaha.

However, its not motorized. For carryboy, you still have to wait for body colored.

Medyo nagdadalawang isip rin kasi ako sa motorized sport lid, hindi ba sirain? Any bad experiences about the motorized sport lid? Parang may nabasa ako dito before na ibabalik o papaayos ulit e.

you can check my sportslid tom sa citimotors, pero manual yung akin..at isa ako sa mga nag balik ng lid kasi hndi lapat pag sinasara, mahirap buksan..
basta pag may nakita ka sir na red na strada with our club sticker ako na yun..hehehe

this will just void the electrical warranty and not the whole car. Congrats sa new modification mo sir. please post a picture of your beloved strada. Now on the fender liners, I think only two or three has installed one. One name that catches my attention is sir boybit. He posted it in this thread. kindly use the search mode.

Hi BOSB's saw this article on the web.. An LSD only if he takes the car off road often and it is one of the primary purposes of the customer buying the vehicle. If they spends most of it’s mileage on paved roads, the LSD usually wears out prematurely - something to do with the grip on paved roads being too much and not allowing enough slip or something, causing wind-up. I think 4X4 guys should understand this better.

So, kaya yata sa europe is upon request yung LSD feature.. i don't know if this true..

Sir ghost recon, as far as I know, wala pang nagpakabit ng chip upgrade among the strada club members.

I think this was already discussed in this thread early on. Most of the strada owners contemplating to put a chip upgrade earlier finally realized that the upgrade is not necessary as they find their stradas adequate already for everyday regular use as far as speed and torque is conderned. Also the issue of warranty was also discussed.

Yehey!Got my Strada sa wakas! After waiting for 2 hrs para ibaba sa releasing bay ang auto! Walang ka kupas kupas talaga! Nevertheless I have it, pero despite the "abnomal" stock tires, satisfied tlaaga ako sa ride at hatak ha, kaya pwede munang pagtyagaan, after makita ko sapatos ng ride ni sir eslon blue at pinatulo laway ko e, pagtyagaan ko muna yung stock tires, anyway wala rin naman akong perang pampalit! Yun talaga ang reason!
Pero bakit ganun ang busina parang scooter, ayaw tuloy tumabi mga tao kala kasya ako dumaan sa kalye... Tunog ek ek, mukang naisahan tayo dun ha, wala sa specs! Di bale palitan nalang kaso warranty issue na naman ba toits!

Thanks sir eslon blue for giving me a clearer understanding about the lid.
Dumerecho ako kay Miggyboy buti nalang umabot pa ako sa last stock ng flares nila. Ayos installation nila. Ask about the fender liners, hindi raw talaga fit for Strada. Sa Carryboy awat muna ako, consult ko muna si kumander sa bahay kasi medyo mataas ang presyo e, pero babalik ako bukas to make the downpayment. Saka off to Seatmate!

Malamang nasa EB kayo by this time! Enjoy the night mga pre!!

Sir Ratuktok, yan rin ang complaint ng marami. Ako, I describe it, agila ang sasakyan pero pipit o maya ang boses, hahaha. I upgraded with a steber magnum sa C3 ko binilia at pinakabit. Only P600.00 lang plus installation of P300.00, P900.00 total. Pulido naman ang pagkakabit. Ok na sa akin yun, budgeted kasi ako. Value for money yung kinabit na busina.

Malamang nasa EB kayo by this time! Enjoy the night mga pre!!

worth it naman pag antay bro diba, poging pogi pag labas sa casa kahapon!!!

oo bro talagang pangit busina natin,mas maganda pa nga yung sa mga motor..hehehe pati pag tumatakbo sa highway hndi ka ma didinig, na experience ko yun nung inovertake ako ni sir moxxx sa SLEX hndi man lang daw ako bumusina ulit snobish daw ako hehe, same experince ko din kay doc 00ba99 hndi din nadinig busina ko asa edsa naman kami nun, palit kana din sir, dagdag safety din..
kuha ko sa stebel ko 750 sa may banaue, pero may mas mura sa tapat niya 550 lang wid instalation(nalaman ko na mas mura sila habang kinakabit na yung busina ko) tsk tsk ..SR2 yung shop, near dencios banaue..

punta ka sa eb sir, mas madame naka lid dun, may mga motorized dun sir..mas ma kaka pili ka ng maige hehehe..para sayo na talaga yun flares na yun, inaantay ka na nun hehehe..
