Hi,
I'm just new here. I was scanning this thread yesterday to find out if I can see similar problem with my Strada GLS but what I mostly read was about steering column problem. My problem is about loosing power while driving, mostly on high speed but it did occur also on slower speed. Even if you step on the pedal it won't just respond the way it should be. If you release your foot then it will work back. One of our friends has also the same problem but his is worst. It just lost power and will stopped. He said he even turn off the key to make it work again. Another 2 Strada owner have similar problem. So I'm the fourth one to experienced this porblem. It didn't matter if it's manual or automatic. Mine is automatic while the other 3 are all manuals. All of these units are in Bohol alone so I am wondering maybe there are other onwers who experienced the same. By the way, the dealer said they have changed 2 modules under the hood our friends unit. So far it's working ok now. The other 2, I don't know what they have changed or fixed.
My wife felt the problem first, so I took it back to the dealer. They hook it up to their computer and did a diagnostic but found nothing. I thought maybe it just happened once. After driving it for another 3 weeks, it happened again. This time it was me using it. I was overtaking a multicab when it happened. This is dangerous when you can't pass the other vehicle in time. The unit is back with the dealer and it's good because when they road tested it they also experienced it. They said they just cleaned the fuel pump. Maybe it is also due to dirty diesel fuel sold in the provinces. Can this be another problem from the other 3 owners? If this is the case, they should also calibrate it but maybe it will also affect the fuel consumption. By the way, all these 4 units were both last year. I haven't tested my unit yet since, I'm out of town but my wife said, it looks like it's still there. I just have to find out next week.
Has anybody here experienced the same problem?

Hi peeps,
I brought in my unit for the adjustment of clutch (i thought its too high) and hard shifting to 1st gear from neutral and 1st to 2nd gear. brought it in the morning and unfortunately, i wasnt able to get it. SA told me it cant be pulled out and they will have to get planta feedback on how to resolve the problem. they checked all the readings and measurement and pasok daw lahat. I hope they can fix it soon. they havent experienced this yet. when i first told them the problem, they thought my car was automatic. i told them its manual. so first time they heard of this problem (from the tone of voice, it comes out that madami na complaints of not smooth shifting of automatic strada). my car has around 600 km on it and 3 weeks old. I'm just sad that I cant use the car and for how long i have to wait till i get my unit back. keep you guys posted. fyi

Mine is 3 weeks old din and around 2500kms
It's a pain in the butt sa traffic, big engine hard shifting low gears
Not to mention sagad na sa first gear , parang kulang pa sa second
nga lang when you hit the hiways and shift to 3rd , it never fails to put a smile on your face
please post what the casa finds
