As far as the tailgate is concerned, i think wala ata... but i could be wrong.
For anyone to closely examine the pickup bed of the truck for the hooks, it is best to look at the it WITHOUT the bedliner or that of the Strada GL (kasi walang bedliner yun) to see where the possible crossmembers/chassis are located and plot the hooks there!
if it is well installed, it can hold stuff up to the strength of the hook itself- say, 100kgs per hook maybe?
just thinking aloud. thank u/
finally got my 3.2 GLS sports MT last night. i have some unusual observations though:
1- the tires are 245r65 on a 17". small and the height of the pickup is somewhat lower. is this the case for the 208 models?
2- heavy to steer, steering wheel does not return back to center easily. does it need adjustments? ANY Comment, suggestions please. thanks.
I've seen that horizontal grille at Citimotors Las Pinas before.
Congrats sir wulf_geo. I think someone mentioned in this thread na mas magaan ang steering ng 2001 model compared to the new generation. Especially for you na galing ka sa previous generation, mas ramdam mo siguro. Ganyan din napansin ko since I used to drive the Innova. Although the 2007 model has 265r70 on 16". Kaya baka mas heavy since mas makapal ang tires. Maybe other owners of the 2008 GLS sports MT can share their thoughts.
the tires on the newly delivered 3.2 2008 are 245r65 17". its narrower, i read on previous post that it's stil 265. have to confirm with my dealer baka pinalitan nila.
thanks
congratulations on your new ride sir!
Sir ThePatriarch= Oo sir para matest yung tibay ng strada natin... hehehe.. sir thanks for the message nd nako naka reply... nasa casa ngayon pa check ko yung uneven height nya.. medyo mababa kasi dun sa driver side.. kahapon pa mga 2pm sa citimotors las pinas wala pang balita... cguro last check up ko na sa citimotors yun.... nakipagaway kc ako dun regarding dun sa 9liters na oil na charge sakin...ganun dun talaga 9liters.. sabi ko how come the 2.5 and 3.2 displacement is the same oil capacity.. sabi ko mali pala yung nasa manual nyo... better not to give the owners manual... sunogin nyo nalang..![]()
sir wulf_geo, congrats on the new ride!!! have fun!!!
i read that there were concerns regarding the steering weight of our stradas, actually compared to my 1st gen pajero('90 model) teh steering of any vehicle is heavy!!!! but the width of the tire and it's profile will also have a big impact on the steering weight. slimmer tires plus higher profile would give you better steering response but a very bumpy ride, the opposite will happen if you get a wider tire with a smaller profile. for thos not familiar: 265/70r16(like what i have on my '07 GLS) 265mm is the width, 70 is the profile( 70% of the width) and r16 rim diameter
they should've explained that to you in detail, mauubusan sila ng customer kapag ganyan sila lagi... try mo na lang sa ibang casa bro, baka mas maganda and transparent ang service nila. kung malapit ka lang sana dito sa QC, friend ni sir arvin cristi yung Service Manager ng Diamond Motors Q Ave. na-meet ko kahapon when i went there for my other car's tune-up. personal pa siyang lumabas to tell the mechanics to take good car of my car... at least may kakampi tayo dun![]()
sir pauland, parang yung grill ni sir bobcas ganun din.... pupunta nga ako kay winterpine this week para kumuha... P3K daw ang kuha ni sir bobcas
