October 31st, 2007 03:01 AM #1691[quote=kermitzky;943768]I got mine, jst after the ghost month, from mitsu balintawak. they hve given me the special rate due because of the low sales in august bec its a ghost month in chinese calendar, the agent give me all his commision bec. he had to make a sale, otherwise , he'll be out of job. during releasing the diamond motors brought this issue to mitsubishi plant, thats why the delivery has been delayed to 3 more days bec. of investigation. diamond motors cant meet the discount given to me by union thats why they brought the issue to mitsubishi. but anyway, i'm not sure if they still will give the discount since strada sales are picking up. i guess you'll hve a better deal w/ him that any dealer , my only freebies are matting and sitcover only, tint but didnt take it, no ewd. jst col or visit union motors balintawak , i think they are more accomodating and willing to deal handsomely. i forgot na the agent name only his face i remember. yun no. nya sa union ko lang tinatawag

I prefer changing oil every 5k kms, so mineral oil will do. Much cheaper by about 1/3. Buti hindi rin pihikan yung 4D56.

hi guys
got my strada last oct 12 but only got the chance to break in my gls 3.2 A/T over the week end. took it to banawe on 2H, no problem sa pagakyat. went on to sagada and back to banawe on 4H (unnecessary). Next took it to Banga-an on election day against the advice of the tourist information officer because it rained the whole night and meron daw landslides. despite that advisory we went on. Lalim ng mud minsan sumasayad pa ung ilalim pero never na natakot ako, strada yata dala ko he he he. 4L mode gamit ko.
actual fuel consumption highway driving- manila to solano 2WD=321 km/31.40 L=10.22km/L.
solano to banawe,sagada then back to banawe, to banga-an rice terraces down to bagabag up over dalton pass then to san jose city 4WD/2WD=447. km/57.4 L=7.79 km/L

fuel consumption of my 3.2 strada m/t
12km/l, maintaining speed * 100-120k * 2000-2500rpm
But one thing i hated bout my ride
I just arrived from GenSan around 7pm
The rain was so heavy that i cant even see the road
Why is it so hard to drive * nite when raining using strada?
not unlike my nissan 2.5 eagle, i have clear visibility....
Then i cant control my strada when im * 80kph when i hit some waters on the road...
Maybe stupidity on my part...
I just love running fast coz my heart beats so fast and that's the reason i cant sleep and stayed focus on the road...
Anyway, for the strada owners... have u read your manuals?
Ive been reading this forum to evaluate strada if i should get one or not..
My only concern and the only fear in my mind is the steering...
I think its in the manual...
It clearly says that " Keep the steering wheel centered all the time and never exceed to 10 sec." coz your steering wheel will malfunction.
I guess, and my only guess why some of strada owners have problems...
Anyway, Sorry if i've gone too far,,, jaz giving u guys some info's

October 31st, 2007 08:48 PM #1697naku sir, based on your previous post, you actually hydroplaned while cruising at 80 km/h... delikado pag naghydroplane kasi hindi mo macocontrol yung vehicle and can lead to an accident... kaya i don't drive fast when the road is full of puddles... anyway, ganda pala ng black kahit stock version... in a couple of days ipopost ko na yung pic ng strada ko...

* DosbyDos
Great Report. Very enjoyable naman ang break-in period ng strada mo. Can't wait to bring mine to Sagada in December.
* Nismo26
Ingat lang sir pagumuulan. Anyway, ang ganda ng black! Simple but Elegant.
* Numbah5
Is there any precaution that we can do para di mag hydroplane trucks natin?

".

Still a good buy if comfort and timeless looks matter to you. The monocoque chassis rides smoother...
2017 Pajero BK, still a good buy?
