I had my seatcovers done with the usual run-off-the-mill shop na leather seats. And they are what they are cheap but they dont really fit well.

Now to my questions, I saw the leather seat covers installed by seatmate based on your pics, they look great and i dont see any visible creases which is really really good.

Question 1. In the middle row, is the part where you have the armrest zippered up? I had mine zippered up, but when i feel like riding in the back i would like to use the armrest with cup holder. What they did with mine is the zipper starts from the back going to the front so i have a hard time unzipping in which i already wrecked the zipper.

Question 2. In the last row, when we fold down the seats to accomodate say for example golf bags, groceries, etc. etc., there is supposed to be a wooden flap that makes it sort of a bridge between the seat folds (when unfolded). I am sure you get me, if not try giving your monty a look see.
Is there provision to bring out those wooden flaps? or did you abandon it altogether? I would prefer having mine as an option just because if you fold over your seat, and not have the flaps and put stuff in the back, it will dirty up the seat cover, possibly get scratched and what not. and might dirty up the head rest.

Question 3. When you fold the last row seats, does the seat cover stay firm? No creases? No misalignments after the folding? I ask this coz the ones i have (i know they are crappy) get misaligned after i use the cabin space with folded seats. In the pic you have, they look stretched pretty nicely. Does it stay the same when you fold/unfold the last row seats?

This will help me out in deciding which upholstery shop to go to. And inadvertently help other peeps from this forum too.

most audio installers will have a console from older cars or even new consoles, its not hard to find since the slot is very common sized. So you'll have an extra slot/compartment so you can put things in.

Sir NTYcE, I got a qoutation from Atoys for the montero sport body kit (excluding the rear spoiler which I already have) - P61,000.00. This kit comprises of the front & rear chins, honeycomb grille, tailgate garnish and door moldings. Paint and labor is already included. Is this a fair price or can we, members of tsikot, still get a discount?

I dont have plans to change my rims at the moment. Will the stock rims go with the front & rear chins you designed?

I'd like to share my "find" with the synthetic leather seatcovers. I had mine done by Seatcrown. They are located in P. Guevarra San Juan.

Initially, yung back row armrest ko di-zipper din. Hindi ako satisfied kasi ang sinabi ko sa dealer (who will be unnamed) na gusto ko yung collar type (check the picture out). Anyway, the dealer asked me to deal directly with the supplier. They were very, very accommodating. Siguro 4 times ko binalik yung sasakyan para ma-perfect nila yung collar type na seat cover. Inadjust din nila yung 3rd row seat covers. Pinagawa ko din yung matting sa kanila para walang "ribs" yung papatong sa 3rd row seats na nakababa.

According to the owner, she can do the full leather seats (no mix) for less than 50K. I saw them doing one for the monty at maganda naman kinalabasan.

FYI, hindi ko pinagawang may dimples yung middle ng seatcovers ko, mas gusto ko yung malinis tignan.

Tomorrow is the day!

9am at the metrowalk parking lot, lower area.

Fisrt stop would be picture taking galore since i'm sure all of us would be excited to see and take pictures of the MS na tabi-tabi/madami and see the units posted in our thread in real life (secret nalang kung alin sa mga nasa pics ang dadating bukas.. punta kayo to find out).

Second, after all the "uuhhhhh" and "aaahhhhhh" we will compose ourselves, get to know each other and have a list of members (name, unit, cell#, email) We can do this in a big circle, but preferably, let's pick a coffeeshop/resto to do this. Sorry guys, i wasn't able to reserve a resto for this

Third is the serious part, (anu kakainin natin and iinumin, este) club forming: Official Club name, Officers, Club Logo, Schedule Club Meetings, etc.. Hopefully, we can cover everything tomorrow and baka abutin a din tayo ng lunch haha

My Monty sensor was ok.
my other car have the back up cam install at the real bumper, but due to the angle ( althought wide angle ) you cant see much, also at night is to dark to see too, maybe need the night vision cam.

My own opinion, i still prefer rear sensor, but 4 point, 2 at rear and 2 at rear side, like BMW, that is much better....

hey jepoy.. i didn't design the rear chin and the side moldings. like i tell everyone who wants to get the kit and not rims.. only get the rear tail garnish and front chin and grill at most.. if you get all of it, you're car will look awkward. i've seen them and it'll look like you've got this really aggressive heavy top and really really small feet. what more is that when you're on stock rims, the wheels are kinda deep. So if you're asking my suggestion then front chin, grill, rear garnish.

after browsing through it (and trying to recall whatever spanish words i have) the 3.5 V6 is the only engine available when the L200 is available in 2.5 D-iD guise. Nice warranty package they have though.

I had a chat with my friend with MMPC and to my dismay, i found out that the 2.5 GLS 4x4 M/T does NOT have the Hybrid LSD... i quote his words "It is not equipped"! haiz

my recommendation is to put the front but not the rear. just to give it that aggressive look.. but honestly if you're not into setting up your car, then the tail garnish will do. what color is your car? depending on the color, there may be parts you need to paint so the front chin won't look awkward.
