AFAIK, i think the difference with the Montero Sport GLS SE, Strada GLS Sport and Pajero SE with the 3.2 are minor tweakings with the computer box. The main adjustment made for the Pajero SE was to provide a broad torque band due to a heavier body. Other than that, the 4M41 for the 3 of these models have the same camote.

hi ianmitsulancer! your post just got me curious. is it possible to have a mechanic "tweak" my montero's 4M41 to match that of the Pajero? is it possible that i could add more torque or HP to my MS by doing so? not really into internals kasi. hehehe thanks!

Yes you can ask the casa, like what we do dito we reflash our ECU for a better program some friends from australia also do it, but im not sure kung pwede diyan sa atin like mine the original ECU version is 3 i reflash it to 4 then back to 3 again on my next PMS i will reflash and change it to 5 because im testing and tuning my piggy back system and also my turbo boost controller.

I'm not too sure if the casa is into tweaking the ECU but you can try inquire po and let us know about it. To this date, ECU modifications have not been a primary focus of discussion on the Montero Sport and Strada PMS threads. The minor tweakings i have mentioned are modifications made while the car as well as the engine are still in its assembly process. What Sir Dadz has abovementioned would be on the aftersales and aftermarket already.

It would also be great to hear from Dadz for additional feedback in days and weeks to come from his piggyback system as he regularly uses it.

Bukas pa full tank ko ulit para at least makita ko FC ng 4x2 namin.

I have no point for comparison kung underpower sya or hindi. Sa village namin madami uphill na matarik and di naman ako kinakapos kahit na puno kami. 5 adults and 2 kids. Siguro pag na drive ko yung 3.2 model ma-compare ko. Pero it suits our needs naman so no complaints.... So far.

sushiboy : yup pangit nga. That's the first thing I replaced after I left the dealership. Depends on the size of the replacement horn. Kung maliit lang, pwede dun sa stock location.

FC on my 3.2 GLS, 7.6 kms on pure city. old school technique using full tank (hanggang leeg)

no. of kms.
liters of diesel loaded = kms/li.

i think the 2.5 GLS would go between 8 and 9 kms/li.

mga sir, bakit pag minsan pag open ko ng pinto tapos sasaksak ko na yung susi ayaw mag start tapos pag tanggal ko ng susi mag aalarm siya. alarm lang ng alarm ano po ba ang dapat gawin?
