Ok naman din yung 8 tones siren na pinakabit ko sa winterpine, whelen siren dapat lagay ko but theres no room for the big control unit inside the monty,whelen strobe lights na lng outside..

Ill try 4H & nitrogen on my tires when i go to ilocos next week..I asked about the turbo timer but its out of stock daw.. Inform us on this thread about your new audio set up, pics na din..hehe

MALI yung sinabi nya sayo. The reason why turbo kicks in at 2k rpm is because it's a normal turbo and NOT to save fuel. Practically all engines with normal turbos don't engage the turbo before 2k because by design, it CAN'T.

VGT solved this issue by auto-adjusting its turbines so it can engage much earlier (1,XXXrpm) to give boost.

To other owners, do you experince this whistling sound and the delayed response?
I went back to Diamond Motors Marcos Hi-way, unfortunately wala daw pag Saturday yung kanilang Waranty Engineer. I have to retun the viehicle this Tuesday.

Same here. I noticed this whistling sound right after the 1000 PMS. Has this got something to do with the Synthetic oil. I was told by the Casa that only mineral oil was used from the plant. This is about the only variable I could think of before and after the 1000 PMS. Unless me kinalikot ang Casa.

This whistling sound is kind of annoying. I don't hear this with my previous diesel unit, the turbo-intercooled Ranger and I also find the 2.5 WLT more refined. Ika nga, mas agricultural ang dating ng engine sound and vibration ng 4M41.

mga sir bago lang po sa thread, ganito rin ang na observe ko sa ride ko ,bali that was after the 1k PMS kala ko nga tunog lang ng muffler cutter na nilagay ko pero na experience din pala nila yun, isang tanong lang po me naka observe na ba sa mga MS owners about sa ticking sound while the engine is at idle parang di po normal yung sound lalo na kung sa pagitan ng wall(garage)

i also notice the ticking sound when i first got the MS, but read somewhere in the strada thread, especially the 4m41 version that it's normal for the ticking sound so dont mind it. i think you'll have to worry more if you dont hear the ticking sound.

Hindi ko napansin ang ticking sound though my garage is also between two walls. San galing ang sound, did you try to open the hood and trace where it is coming from, I suppose its coming from a running engine. What I noticed is a few ticking sounds after I turn off the engine. I also had these ticking sounds with my xtrail and dun sa forum they said it was normal and something to do with water dripping down the muffler tube. I also did not notice any effect kaya pinabayaan ko na.

Mdyo OT ito but I noticed mahina ang acceleration ng Montero after slowing down from a curve, mdyo nahirapan cguro sa bigat ng unit. I had driven three other 4wd vehicles but hindi pigil from the curve like this Montero na parang hirap ang makina.

Good thing you pointed that out. I notice the same during my test drive, in fact, I have to go back and do another test drive. Parang mahina ang response ng engine and maingay which I presume is common in diesel engines.

Maybe Engine Break? Unlike sa Nissan Frontier namin pag release ng gas pedal nag f-free wheel. Sa montero naman pag-release nag-ddecelerate

Something like that. Parang engine brake or bumalik sa 1st gear kaya from a slowdown, ang hirap mag accelerate. Kaya minsan pag I need to speed up, lagay ko sa sportronic mode and push up to 2 or 3 agad.
