New Mitsubishi Montero Sport [ARCHIVED]

Hi Guys... I've been following this tread for sometime now and it really has been very informative. This is my first time to post.

Just want to ask you guys if you know any honest SA or dealership for the montero 4x2.

I've talked to an SA in OTIS U.N avenue... We agreed on in-house financing and in-house insurance... but they made the financing rate almost hte same as BPI... I already made a 5 thousand petot deposit and waited for a month now.... now they are telling me they don't know when a white color unit would be available and the only available color is silver... they said I can get the unit already the next day but I need to give an additional 17k for a year on my financing... they are telling me if I wait till July I might be affected by the increase...

BADTRIP... I already gave them the reservation of 5k last May.. BAKIT PA AKO MA AFFECT NG RATE HIKE??? and why all of a sudden they want to increase my financing.. PARA DAW MABIGYAN AKO NG UNIT??? in the first place why did they agree then after letting me wait for a month, they will tell me alll those CRAP!!!

BTW my SA is Miss GIGI.... UNION OTIS... Right now I'm considering not to get the Montero... I am a client who wants to buy from them, and they are giving me all th HASSLE in the world!

Maybe you guys know any dealership that is straight and honest.. if I still do consider to get a Montero.

*gastromd and Hndalxi97... go to your bank, ask about bank financing (which is always, ALWAYS, cheaper than inhouse financing) and have them refer to you their connection to mitsubishi.. that'll make the bank financing and the SA work smoother since they're already familiar with eachother. That could make it easier...

i feel your pain man. why don't you just apply in another dealership besides union motors get financing thru your bank don't give deposit , because a purchase order from the bank is enough. so those full of sh_t SA and dealers will learn not to screw with the customer .

Ayaw nila makabenta e di wag. They are riding on the hype of montero at the moment but they want to earn more at the customer's expense. But i actually don't believe its the SA that is at fault sunod sunuran lang naman yan sa mga managers which will give priority to in house financing bec of the higher interest rates. Basically supply and demand. it boils down to how much you want the montero and how much more a you willing to pay...

Yes it's Supply and Demand...I think almost all the dealers here in metro manila are the same..they will always prioritize in-house financing and insurance..or whoever has a higher package...Do you remember when the Fortuner was introduced back in 2005. some people would even get the entertainment system, in house financing, insurance, and accessories from the dealers just to get their unit.

count me in sir... adik sa EB... hehehe... i like your suggestion, let's wear the same color of shirt (red or black)... during the meet, let's finalize our club name, draft a design of our logo, estimate the cost of stickers and tshirt, estimate our club fee, agree on the location of the next EB, etc.... for those who want their opinions/suggestions count, we suggest that you join us in this coming MS EB!!!

Seems like a lot has been happening in this site for the past weeks..I'm in the country now and would gladly like to attend your next EB...I haven't done anything yet to my MS unit..seems like Mitsubishi Thailand is slow in supplying Phils. with accessories. I'm thinking of going there myself as side trip on my next travel plans for July/August.....

Where do you plan to have the next EB????

Try provincial dealer too minsan mas okay kasi mas maikli ang pila. I got mine sa Bulacan, the name of the SA is Sergio Linao, his number is 09175175093. You should compare dealer prices, freebies, payment scheme and avaialability before giving any downpayment.

Malalabo talaga kausap MS dealer dito sa Otis, even me working within the area did not consider to get the unit from them.

Hey, hey, hey!!!

Please be informed that the EB will be moved on the morning of July 11, venue still TBA, (worst case scenario would be metrowalk ulit, please suggest where you prefer it to be held). Some of the reasons for moving the EB are:

1. More people will be able to come on July 11 (more people, more fun )

2. We also have to keep in mind the safety of our fellow members, coming from far places, when they go home after the EB.

3. Morning will produce better pictures , aside from that, everyone is still fresh and energetic. Venues would most likely be less crowded also.

4. Etc...
