Never went up or down 7km/L, combined lagi ang byahe ko eh. Top speed 164 sa stock ralliart rims, 156 sa 26" wheels. Both iphone speedbox reading. Sir testa ganyan din yung sakin before putting an open type knn filter, nalaman ko lang nga siya nung tinanggal ko yung knn, balik 156-157 topspeed. Actually hindi mo siya maramdaman sa low rpms, sa top end ang bigay ng knn filter sa 4m40.

And better FC. Before bibihira ako maka-10km/l sa hway pero with KN&N air filter kahit malapit na oil change eh nakaka-10.51km/ltr ako last time sa out of town trip.

my FC is also around 7 to 8... but mostly city driving lang talaga..

sorry to hear about your fm bro, ilan km na natakbo nya?
if sa tire kasi bro ang prob usually constant ang humming nya. hindi ba masyadong mainit ang mags mo after ka tumakbo? pwede din kasi sa bearing e. with your case kasi sa high speed lumalabas and if may load from the motor. tama ang suggestion nila to have your prop shaft balanced muna, and check the cross joints for wear or lubricate if necessary. if sa diffrential talaga and prob, look muna for a mechanic who knows how to adjust the ring gears and pinion for looseness. if hindi na kaya ng adjustment, pwede naman itong ipa-baklas and bring as sample to your suking surplus shop.

With regards sa tires nag rotate na ko eh, kaya nakabalance na yung nakalagay sa likod. Sobrang nakakainis yung differential whine sound. Kaya minsan i prefer running at 60 km/h lang kasi maingay. I'm planning to go to ilocos, di kaya magkaproblema yun kapag long drive?

BTW, sino na nakatry sa inyo ng rancho rs9000x sa front? I'm planning to replace mine with a set of ranchos sa front.

Try mo I mount muna sir Nelany para malamamn mo if me difference since nabili mo na. Sa XV kasi kala ko pareho lang ng stock, pero accdg. to my wife it was definitely brighter than my stock philips & flosser ...


Tama si Zix888 if nakaka KNN ka ramdam mo sa high speed not at low speed. mas easier at hi-way ang breathing ng 4m40 sa highier speed pag naka KNN...

Ang layo ng comparison ng HP. Depende sa lakas ng dibdib kung kaya mong gamitin lahat ng power ng ride mo.

jilibee, kailangan naka-balance din yung front tires mo. pag hindi naka-balance, you will experience bump steer and vibrations din. and sure ka na sa differential talaga galing yung tunog?

yung prop shaft, sa underchassis repair shop siguro kaya i-check yan.

inlove din talaga ako FM pag nasa expressway pag may nagovertake sakin FM hinahabol dahil gusto ko lang subukan kaso pag umabot na ako sa 140kph hindi na pumapatol sakin mga naka FM crv gen 1 po pala ride ko.. twice ko na nasubukan FM yung sa nlex and jdm 2 doors naman sa sctex..

how much tire ng FM yung sa stock magweels ralliart?

*AC, kung sa mga metal parts ang ingay, why not try WD-40 or other silicon spray. Tsambahan lang din minsan kung mahagip yung mainngay na portion.

Hi FM peeps.

ano ba dapat itune sa ating FM to maintain good engine performance.
I noticed loss of power already.

I heard from other FM peeps na hindi nila recommended ipa-calibrate ang injection pump.
I noticed also malakas na kumain ng oil yung engine. I had to top-up ever 2000 kms.
I religously maintain my FM every 5000 km...change oil, change air filter, change fuel filter, etc.....

ano pa ba dapat icheck?
Recommended ba na ipa-calibrate or huwag na lang ipagalaw?

sir, i think most of the FM owners here have had there injection pumps calibrated (including replacement of the injectors)

calibration is part of maintaining a diesel engine like our 4m40/4d56.

symptoms that it is due for calibration include excessive black smoke, hard starting (despite new glowplugs) etc.

have your ride inspected at a reputable calibration center like central diesel in quezon ave or malabon diesel.

replaced my oil pressure switch/oil sending unit kanina... nag-intermittent blinking yung oil warning indicator...

If nag babawas ng langis yung ride mo, have the engine checked for leaks. if no leaks namn I think topping up every 2000 kms is not that much, diesels aren't called "oil burners for nothing" ... to expound its due to the higher compression ratio in our cylinders vs. gasoline fed counter parts..

Who's the expert that told you that the FM is exempted or is not recommended to be calibrated?

when you have excessive smoke and loss of power I suggest you bring it to a calibration center especially a duly authorized Bosch service center not the ones na sa tabi tabi lang... bringing it there doesn't necessarily mean they automatically calibrate it, they are gonna diagnose if you have symptoms of a pump that needs calibrating or help you out if they can because they are professionals...Be warned thou the 4m40 is quite expensive to have it serviced for calibration..

Need help...my dashboard compass / altimeter liquid have already leaked.

Pano ba pinapalitan / kinakalas yun para mareplenish yung liquid na nagpapafloat dun sa ball?
Also water lang ba yung liquid na yun or a special type of gel? puna ko kasi parang medyo iba amoy ng aircon ever since it leaked.
