actually tumingin na ko sa mga yan kaya lang wala talaga ako idea sa presyuhan sa ngayon ng gen 2 or 2.5 so di ko alam kung 'taga' price o hindi.

yup get the 04 kung city driving lang and minsang baguio/tagaytay trips... 4x2 pajero capable naman sa akyatan... added maintenance cost kasi yung 4x4 mechanism (electricals,differential etc)

pero kung mag-offroad ka, by all means get the 99 model. panalo pareho yan pajero yan eh.hehe

kamusta naman charge nila sa PMS sir? and sinasama ba nila mga bolt tightening?

last time ako nagpa-PMS heavy check up eh, 100k km bale mileage ng paj (tatlo categories nila for PMS 5k,10k,20k)
anyway, yup kasama yung mga bolt tightening, underchassis full inspection, greasing ng doors, greasing ng underchassis parts, brakes (clean/adjust), change oil,filter,air filter,fuel filter, fluid inspection, tire rotation with balancing, check wipers,lights,carwash.

express 5k, premium 10k, ultra 20k

Since summer ramdam mo talaga yan... here's what I did, buy ka nga double sided aluminum insulator sa Ace or handyman around 100 petot per meter I think. Lagay mo sya sa ilalim ng carpet sa area ng footwell.. Labor: D.I.Y.

Kung bitin parin pati sa loob ng roof trim lagyan mo na rin. Hope this helps

In your shoes I'd still get the 4x4 especially cause its cheaper and you get more capability. If as you say na parehong sariwa... di naman ganun kahirap I-maintain ang 4x4 since additional differential and transfer case gear oil lang dag dag and since its a 4x4 city driving really wont take it to its limit to break the system. minus 1-2 km/l ka nga lang sa fuel consumption vs. a 4x2... just my 2 centavos... hehehe

Sir try niyo rin i check yung fire wall ng paj niyo baka may mga kulang na seal or rubber na malaki butas kaya pumapasok yung init sa loob, marami kasi sa electrician ganyan ginagawang trabaho.

Sir yung 4x4 nalang kasi mas mura may option ka pa for 4x4.

first thing tangalin mo muna yung door sill trim para ma lift mo yung footwell carpet. tpos tsaka mo isik sik yung pre cut insulators mo. Can't really say if mawala yung pumapasok na hangin, pero since ginagawa mo na rin yun carpet insulator check mo na rin

Another option sir is ibuka nyo yung humahawak sa knob by inserting a flat screwdriver. konting konti lang po ang kelangan na pagbuka.. too much and it will be difficult to push the knob back. do it in very small increments untill u achieve enough tightness

Sir, yung 1999 model 4x4, silver ba ito? May EGR headlight cover and brake lights cover/ sunroof? Kung same ito sir, nakita ko din ito sa malapit sa Pier. I think you need to check the following: Aircon, medyo mahina lamig, baka cleaning lang. Aircon vents switch, hindi nagbabago ang labas ng hangin sa mga vents, so baka tangal lang yung cable sa likod or putol, DIY lang. Front suspension, although walang kalampag,at maganda ang ride, I saw some joints na puro grasa so baka bagong greasing or medyo punit na mga rubber covers.

Sir tama din na icheck yung engine wall at baka may loose ng rubber fittings, or kung wala na, pwedeng ang carpet foam, or neoprene na isaksak sa mga butas. Then just to be sure, use aluminum sticker (sa Ace meron) to cover all holes sa engine bay. At least protected din during engine wash.

Sir pwede din instead of ibubuka, cut kayo ng small plastic and insert dun sa space to widen the gap. Tapos teflon pa. This will make sure hindi na luluwag yung switch. Yung iba naman they just insert 'blu tack' para may kapit ang switch.

Since na mention na rin lang ang insulation, I saw an online ad on Asphalt sound deadener.....P300 per sheet, size is 26 in x 35 in x 1.8mm. Ok kaya ito? They say this material is being used by auto manufacturers... Plan ko kasi mag DIY sa pajero natin to lessen the sound of the engine and road noise.
