minsan magpapalign ako sa good year. may play na daw idler ko kaya ayaw nila ialign. that was 2 years ago, hinihintay ko pa kasi yung so called wiggle sa steering wheel. hanggang ngayon di ko pa napapagawa. ok naman kain ng gulong ko. mali ba yung thinking ko?

play in the idler can be considered normal so long as not excessive. Maybe those guys were just trying to sell you stuff.

Remember how large and heavy SUV tires are. And your suspension can really take a beating. If parts can't flex, they'll break.

ahhhh. pantay naman tire wear, so i take it it's a good sign.

i'll drop by motorcraft sometime. any specific instructions to get to there, like landmarks? is it on the old banawe side or the other one?

pajero peeps, help me locate surplus relay box for v24 (3dr gen2 pajero - subic).

my headlight dim is intermittent. traced the wirings underneath dash - not the culprit, cleaned the contacts on the switch and steering column - not the culprit, finally isolated the problem to the relay box in the engine bay, sockets tend to get lose in time, kahit nasikipan na yung terminals. i guess hanap na lang nga ako ng relay box.

    Hi guys,

M back with another shock absorber query. Has anyone here tried replacing the shocks of his/her Gen 2.5 Pajero with aftermarket shocks (i.e. OME, Rancho, Bilstein, etc.)? What aftermarket shocks did you replace the oems with?

I've read that OMEs improved the ride of the Gen 2 Paje, but then these did not come with adjustable shock settings as in the Gen 2.5. Do the Gen 2 and 2.5 share the same shock absorbers?

Got a friend who's not satisfied with the ride of his Gen 2.5. Mejo matagtag na dati, nadagdagan pa nung nag-18"s siya. When he uses the Soft setting, nababawasan yung tagtag, pero di masyadong ok yung stability.

    Thanks.

i think old man emu shocks are good. my friend recommends it, but he uses a 4x4 hilux (previous model).

i'm contemplating on that too since the stock 3-way adjustable shocks of our gen 2.5
    is starting to leak.

if the gen 2 has the adjustable shocks, then yes, they share the same ones with the gen 2.5.

ours naman is starting to go soft na with the ride. the current hard setting only feels like the medium setting when it was new.

i saw somebody selling their gen2.5 oem shocks...try checking the for sale section or classifieds ofthe ff sites......kotse.com, autoindustriya.com, mymitsuph.com. kita ko 12k lang daw. mura na yun sobra eh. a pc of the gen2.5 adjustable shocks cost 8k a pc. kindly look for it. it's a great bargain ifthe shocks are still ok.
