Hindi ba medyo malaki ang sensors ng audiovox? May extra set kasi kami dito (spare set ng Expedition) balak ko ilagay sakin dati. Kaso sobrang laki ng sensor. Definitely requires drilling unlike the Taiwan sensors on the Montero and Land Cru.

Hindi pwede ibenta, eh (parang junk shop na tuloy kami dito hehehe). Medyo malaki siya kasi may rubber gasket thingie pa sa paligid.
I don't think the spare will be an issue since hindi naman 90 degrees up ang signal mula sa sensor.
The issue will be baka tumama na sa pader ang spare mo and yet the indicator is still telling you na malayo pa ang pader. Remeber that the spare portrudes beyond the bumper line on our rigs.

pag ganyan na ang kaso, u just have to back up and familiarize yourself with distance and the sound of the sensor so once you hear that sound, u know how much nalang ang distance ng spare mo sa likod.

On backup sensors,
May i recommend the ones made by BREES. Yung sakin nasa 200+ ang kuha ko sa Concorde. The big plus is, that the sensor's plastic is colored silver.... an exact match for the bumpers (if you dont dig color coordination, the regular black ones will do). Yung black na brees costs around 1500 in banawe for the dual sensor model.
Sakto sa paj yung reading. Full tone (sagad) is about 1 foot from the bumpers or approx 4-6in from the spare tire.

I replaced all my belts (fan, alternator, aircon) altogether when I experienced broken fan belts as my ride registered 64K mileage. In my recollection there are four belts all in all. More or less 350 peso each from el dorado. My timing chain is yet to be replaced though I'm not sure if there is immediate need to.

Should I have those back-up sensors installed earlier I might have save my center rear bumper and left corner bumper for getting damaged. Anyway, the good thing is that the insurance shouldered the repair cost with my 4K participation fee.
PK, My visual indicator din ba yan BREES beside the usual audible tone?
Kung sirain mga modern releases nila, edi walang pinagkaiba sa ford.
