no problem sa alarm ko. its the actuator daw. 6,800 yung orig. 350 lang daw replacement. baka sa replacement nalang ako. I had it done here sa province but sabi nila baliktad daw yung polarity ng pajero. kaya pag unlock mo. naglolock siya(vice versa), hanap ddaw ako sa banawe ng replacement actuator. sana nga meron para di mahal. ang drawback daw pag replacement na is titigas yung lock mismo pag inaangat.

May sinugest saakin dito, kunin ko daw yung actuator ng tailgate ko, yun ang ilagay ko sa harap. then yung replacement ilagay ko sa tailgate, since di naman daw mahahalata. can anyone confirm this possible ba ito?. meron ba talagang replacement lang na actuator sa banawe for 350.

    paging sir pk, :help!:

Pasensya na pero yung tailgate pa lang ng Pajero ang nabaklas ko.

And yes, walang pinagkaiba sa generic actuator yung nandun sa likod.

Sir Promdi, Ive been using my replacement actuators for like about 5-6 years na, satisfied naman ako. You cant tell the difference actually, it even surpassed the life span of my stock original ones. And I really dont think you need to interchange your actuators, I mean what for? Dagdag trabaho lang yan. Just look for a reliable and magaling na installer na malapit sa inyo na pwede mong balikbalikan just incase something goes wrong again.
With the replacements....tipid ka na, may pangvalentine ka pa.

Something similar happened to me during the peak of heavy rains last year. nag uunlock then lock then unlock yung power locks ko. I suspected water shorting the electricity somewhere. the good thing is, when the rain stopped, so did the random locking and unlocking.

Anyways, I went for originals dun sa Gen2 ko when the lock servo got busted.

Iba kasi yung itsura nung originals kesa yung generic servo motors. Installing generic lock motors may require drilling holes in your door or installing rust prone brackets.

Sorry but for proprietary electrical parts, I recommend installing the original parts. Mahal, pero at the end of the day you have more peace of mind.

so would this be also an issue with the pajero? ganun din sa amin when we got the car way back, almost 3 years ago. dami kasing dinadaanang baha yung folks ko on the way to my dad's office.

they couldn't recall lang nga what was the fix, yun nga siguro yung fix na nabanggit na dito, but the casa covered that kasi under warranty that time.

....to add. Generic actuators like those which come with alarms have the "push-pull' action. The OEM actuator actually looks like a box and the lock-unlock motion is done by a lever. From here pa lang you can imagine the modification required. True, madali lang ito, but it's still a modification no less.

Hmmmm..... sa bagay Promdiboy, dagdagan mo na lang ng konti yung 6500 bnew NitroStar 25 engine na yun hehehehe :evillaugh:

Not all generic actuators are the same naman. Hanap ka ng match sa original actuator. If I recall, may one box of actuators ako dito sa bahay (4-5 pcs. in a box).
