pajero gurus
my grand father's pajero was down againthe mechanic said that the clutch plate was damaged due to the driving habits of mah grandfather. when he steps the gas, at the same time with his left foot, he also steps the brake. and i found this [SIZE=4]VERY [SIZE=2]funny
. para daw in case of emergency the brakes can be easily engaged lolz. the car wont go backwards na. it was sent to the shop here. it was already fixed. the clutch plate was already replaced. but when they tested to go backward, it still wont. the mechanic noticed a smoking thingy. his analysis, but he's not sure though, is that the computer box burned
if so, diba mahal ang computer box? while i was reading at the alterra and everest forums i read thst it was * 100k
ang mahal. meron bang mura neto?
tia

May 17th, 2008 05:32 PM #2372Finally finished reading all... It took me 2 months... very informative! I just like to share with you my experience about my ride, 2002 pajero fieldmaster 4x2 bought brand new. My odometer reading is already 108,000kms. So far, only change oil (done every 5000kms) using ordinary oil; change fuel filter, air filter, brake pads every 20,000kms (all replacement parts, no complaints, except for the squicking from the brake pads). Replace coolant every 50,000kms. Replace my tires twice. Battery replace every 2 or 3 years. My car is in very good condition. Can go up to 160kph... I only have the changing lane problem with my suspension, but I already got advice from promdiboy. I just learned that the ATF of the transmission must be replace, never ko pa ginawa to, my filter pa pala yun... I might be missing something sa maintenance which I might regret later on... My only complain about this car is fuel consumption compared to newer engines...
