    Hi to all,


    regarding my last post, everything underneath was fine except for the pitman that had to be replaced.. assuming lang ako masyado hehe. thanks for your inputs. yung gearbox ko is ok pa daw the fluids look like it was coming from the a/c compressor. took it to aves a/c's * speaker perez (great a/c shop btw) they said obserbahan nalang muna in the meantime... so both the gearbox and the compressor was cleaned para madetect kung saan manggaling ang oil. update ko nalang kyo.

    Mga ka-Paj,
    Saan po ba makikita ang sending unit ng oil pressure? Nawala po kasi ang indicator sa dahboard pag nasa "on" position ang susi. Di ba dapat naka-on muna sya then mag turn off after na mag start?
    Kung meron pong may picture eh I'll appreciate it. Try ko po sana i-DIY muna.

    Sir Archi, akala ko ikaw na yung nakasabay ko sa SCTEX (Tarlac- Manila route) last Sunday ? Nasa 120 ako pero pito kaming sakay plus may sakay pa kaming gamit sa carrier. ginawa kaming marker sa daan naka buntot sya sa mga bikers. Kakulay din ng Paj mo kaso mga 6pm pa lang yun.

    hi guys, i just replaced my glow plugs kasi busted na. Nag-expand ang tip ng glow plugs . I'm wondering if pre-heat system is not working properly, maybe excessive voltage going to glow plugs or extended working of the glow plugs, kaya nag-expand.

    I replaced all glow plugs, including coolant temperature sensor near the glow plugs (because i saw in the service manual na kasama ito sa pre-heat system ng 4m40).

    This morning when the engine is cold, using a volt tester, i tapped the connection plate (the one that connects to the glow plugs), tapos ask helper namin to turn-on the engine (but not cranking), yon tester indicated a volt going to the glow plugs. Tapos, let the engine running, and tester still indicates volt going to the glow plugs and turns-off only after 1 minute pa.

    Is this normal? pre-heat system turns-off the glow plugs after 1 or more minutes from cold start? By the way, I just replaced my relay 2 years ago. TIA

    Sorry now lang ako nakareply. Uhm about my pajero yup, 65k pa lang takbo niya. And Super ingay sha. Wala shang hatak pero inde naman sha hard starting pag umaga.

    This week, pinapalitan ko na sha nang timing chain, tensioner and lahat na ata sa front ng engine. Pinacalibrate ko nadin ang injection pump and bumili ako ng injectors. Umabot ang gastos ko nang P30k. Sadly, dinala ko sha sa laguna kahapon and lumala yung makina ko. Super hirap ako maka 60km/hr and nawalan lalo ng hatak.. Need your help.. Sabi ng mga mechanic piston na daw..

    Sir san yung ingay? sa engine or sa transmission? pina compression test mo na ba kaya nasabi ng mechanic mo na piston?

    haha ganun? saturday night ako sa sctex, meron nakipaglaro na new crv sa akin * 160kph. pero friendly laro lang sa sctex, nothing dangerous.

    Fellow FMers, Pansin ko kanina hindi pantay yung tread wear (cupped shape) ng front tires. Ano kaya problema nito? Wheel balance?

    Yung ingay is I think nasa engine. Pero im not sure kasi ung ingay is located sa baba ng engine eh dun din located yung transmission diba? And di pa namin napa compression test, sinabi lang ng mechanic na piston na because lahat na major parts napaayos and nareplace na namin. Calibrated na din yung injection pump. I need your help and advice sir. Thank you for reading.

    dcarin, may nakita akong old pic ko, naka bilog ng dilaw. get oem kasi yung replacement nakagamit ako dati nung walang mabili dito, nagloloko hindi parati umiilaw. 150 lang yung replacement 500 yung oem casa price.




    andrewbugs, yes normal yan, magiging live siya 5 secs pag ON position, then pag start live uli hanggang uminit makina. but pag mainit na kahit on off mo makina di na gagana glowplugs

    reep, hindi wheel balance, wheel alignment need mo. pwede rin under inflated


    chilledo2, sorry bro hindi ko pa nasubukan yung ganyang problem, kamusta shifting ng AT mo?

    Wala bang problem if I used a tire with the size io 255 70R16 instead yung standard tire natin na 265 70R16? Mas makitd lang ito. Meron kasing murang GRABER GENERAL TIRE.

    nelany, pwedeng pwede naman, minimal lang difference niyan sa stock namely mas makitid ng 10mm ang lapad, 1/2 inch mas maliit yung overall diameter, kaya yung speedo mo will be 1.8% slower. lets say speedometer is at at 100kph, in reality nasa 98.2 ang actual speed mo.

    Maraming salamat.
    Malinaw ang mga pictures and thanks sa suggestion. Practice ko rin basta sa makina, electrical and sensors dapat OEM. Yung specs at tolerances kasi dapat mag match sa pagka design ng makina.

    Wala bang problem if I used a tire with the size io 255 70R16 instead yung standard tire natin na 265 70R16? Mas makitd lang ito. Meron kasing murang GRABER GENERAL TIRE.

    Last sat. nagpa check ako ng brake sa forward due paminsan minsan ingay, it turned out okey pa ang mga brake pads, but what they noticed in the steering box are traces of oil leaks, suggestion by the tech. is to dismantle the steering box & replace whatever O ring , bushing etc. are needed. estimated cost is P 9plus K that includes wheel alingment. Do you think & agree that the price quotation is reasonable?

    RTS, i spent more or less the same amount nung napalitan mga o rings and seals on the steering box, ang daming goma niyan,pag natapos ay puede ka makipaglaro sa mga bata ng tantsing ng mga goma,pa check mo din mga steering hoses mo, sa akin dun nagstart, sa hose nag leak, nung naayos yung hose, nagkaroon naman ng leak sa may power steering assembly...nagsabay sabay na...pero as of now malinis na makina, wala ng tumutulo maski ano....umiilaw na lang nga paminsan minsan a/t light sa dash...
    patricksxy, ako 30 all around tumipid sa diesel, maganda ride ng 26 in front pero parang mukhang malambot....
