TAZ, name ng shop mindanao diesel calibration center, if your coming from north ave. going to novaliches nasa left side sya. lagpas pa ng tandang sora, nasa gitna ng dalawang gas station. I also did the rounds first like go to CDC (9k-12K 3days), Diesel kiki (9k-10k 1 1/2days), ATI (10k 1 1/2days), various shops in Banawe (7k-9K 1day). 1st consideration ko is how they addres the problem tapos syempre ung price then ung mga equipment na gamit nila. You will actually see how they fix your pump kasi nasa labas lahat ng gamit nila.

    Good PM Pajero Brothers:

Napa lusong ako with my Pajero last Saturday from Los banos to Paranaque. Took me six hours. Deepest portions were about headlight high and one with a wave ( Higher than the roof) coming from an incoming *&^%$^* bus. buti na lang di kami tumirik. I increased the throttle to 1,000 rpm and gear was on low. Bilib na ako sa kotse natin.

The carpet got wet, so I took the seats and the carpet off. Kasama na yung center console sa gears and handbrake.

Ngayon two seater muna ako (para magamit yung car), while waiting for the carpet to be cleaned and dried.

While the carpet is out, can you recommend things that I can prepare or improve like change bulbs, carpet foam replacement etc. Pls advise na lang

Sir PDBoy, what else do i need to check? would you recommend replacing the entire carpet (from one piece to three or four pieces), para hindi na kailangan tanngalin ang seats pag nabasa ulit?

Other than that OK naman yung engine.

Also, in taking out the console box. I needed a long Phillips screwdriver to access a two very recessed screw. I bought a 10inch screw driver just for this purpose..

    Keep safe.

jadm, yeah headlight level kaya pa ng pajero. also check your fluids kung may tubig bago mo gamitin, lalo na sa diffs. baka pinasok sa mga breather, sayang capet pag putol putulin mo, siguro napansin mo kung gaano kaingay sa loob ng pajero natin pag driving ng walang carpet, kaya ko naiisip lagayn ng rubber mat para mas tumahimik. yan lang naman dinagdag ko. also yung gear shift mo na mechanism puno ba ng kalawang. yung akin kasi naging brown na sa kalawang, after ko turco and paliguan ng oil lumambot and nawala dragging sound kaag nililipat ko yung gear shift. oh yeah lastly pag binabalik mo yung screw ng chairs. make sure na malambot ipasok using only your hands, pag pasok na halfway taska mo gamitan ng socket wrench. mabili sma loose tread pag hindi ditretso ang pasok ng screw, pag pilitin mo lalaki ang problem mo. parang ako. ginamitan ko pa ng hand tap para ma retread.

bro could you share with us saan banda una pumasok sa pajero ang tubig sa interior maybe pwede natin improve para di na uli dumaan dun.

    Pdboy,

    Thanks for the quick reply.

I cannot really tell where the water started to enter. but as indicators, the carpet was more soggy on the right side: front and back. Besides, the water was really flowing on both sides. The water flow as so strong, you can feel it sa flooring. Just to illustrate, outside the car, we saw a honda city and a lancer parked in a restaurant, they were moving with the flow of the water current (1 meter sideways). Really scared my wife (ako rin).

I checked the engine and atf, same brown and red color respectively. I had them changed (4k km ago). So I guess safer to change again, when the situation normalizes.

I plan to replace the "hairy" cushion sa ilalim ng carpet. where can we get a good replacement? If I put the rubber mats like you did, hindi ba uumbok? How thick is the rubber mat? The interior is really noisy, without the carpet. I remember our stainless jeep way way back (purong bakal).

The gears and handbrake mechanism has brown dust na rin. Will put WD40 na lang siguro.

I also put all the screws and bolts with a liberal spray of WD40.

What shampoo can you recommend on the wet carpet to take out the musty odour?

Also, any suggestion to clean and polish the plastic console? mayroon ba nung hindi kasing kintab ng armour all pag natuyo? I like the matte finish, but could not find this cleaner.

I hope walang sumobrang screws and bolts when i put them back.

    Cheers and keep safe.
