in mitsu makati, the same winterpine technician also services mazda makati

kaya paikot ikot ito at dapat tumawag ka beforehand para makakasiguro ka nandoon yung technician

    mali ito, IMHO

winterpine should bave a dedicated technician for mitsu makati

Yesterday, while listening to music from my USB thumb drive. All of the sudden my head unit hanged and refused to function any longer. I still had the use of the GPS, Radio and Etc.

I brought my Montero Sport GTV to the Winterpine office on Aurora Blvd this morning. They promptly attended to me and updated my firmware for my head unit, while there they also updated my GPS software as well. I mentioned to the staff that my head unit cover seems to have missing clips. Again I was greeted with a smile and the technician said they would just give me a new cover. What amazing customer service!

Below is a photo I took during the firmware update of the Head Unit. Aside from fixing my stuck usb, I can now also fast forward divx movies playing from my usb thumb drive.

Good day gentlemen. 3 weeks ago I complained sa dealer ko about stock wiper ng MS ko na 3 mos old with almost 5K. I told them that its making noise, tapos di maganda ang hagod. They check the washer fluid and they said its the washer fluid thats causing the problem(original fluid from the dealer). They said the fluid have to be drained. Sabi nila, the only way to drain this is to use them on the windshield. I dont know myself if the washer container has a drain. So they drained it on my windshield, for about less than an hour. Before that, i travelled about 40 km with some dusty road, so theres got to have some road particles on my windshield. So, after they drained and changed the washer fluid to pure and clean water, i drove home. The next day, I found tiny scratches. Scratches that you cannot feel with your fingers, can only be visible on an angle with a help of a flashlight. These scratches are located in the maximum position of the 2 blades when moving.
Though this is not much of a hinder when driving, i would rather have a scratch free windshield. I know I should replace my wiper, but I also need to tell this to my dealer right? Did you guys have a problem like this? Can these small scratches be removed and anybody knows how? Is windshield replacement safe? I mean will they be able to install it like in the factory?
Thanks for reading a very long comment. lolz had to be explained. Thanks.

the particles on the windshield plus the wiper could be the cause. Do you notice these fine scratches or yo didnt have any?

have to check but i dont think i have scratches

i changed my OEM wipers to aero wipers less than a week after i got my unit and so far, i don't have any wiper judder/shaking

the windshield seems smooth from the inside after every wipe of the wipers

i also installed an aftermarket "wiper up"

I can only guess what happened to kc's windshiled. Pag worn out na ang wipers, and most wipers (nwb included), pag overexposed sa elements as i have observed ay lumulutong after a while. This usually happens within 3 to 6 months from my own experience. Pag ganito na ang condition ng wiper blades, malabo na ang hagod pag umuulan and parang may mga lines. Itong same lines caused by the brittle wiper blades ang nagmumukhang superficial or fine lines na gasgas sa windshield pag natutuyo na. When you changed to new set of wipers, ok na ulit, again base on my experience.

Personally, I will not waste my time asking for the warranty of the wipers. Wala din namang kwenta yung stock wipers ng montero (just me). I recently bought 2 sets of bosch banana type wipers with 2 different results. The one I had on my Montero works perfectly, and the other one on my xtrail has line manifestation dun sa passenger side, but only a bitand malinaw din naman ang hagod.

Tama kayo sir, super panis talaga yung stock wipers ng monty, changed mine after two months paglabas ng casa. Lumulutong not only because of exposure to some elements but also because of the heat lalo na kapag direct exposure sa sun yung oto

You may also buy wiper stand so that when parking in a open area in direct sunlight, you can somehow lift the wiper to lessen the impact of the heat of the sun. Just a suggestion.

Using one and so far 1 year naman ang Bosch ordinary wipers ko at ok pa.

Tama kayo sir, wiper stand really helps. Been using one since 2002 on my other vehicles,, naprotect niya na maluto sa heat yung rubber nung wipers

you can get this from any car accessory shop

but there are a lot of brands

choose the more robust one that is less prone to rusting. in short, dapat maganda ang spring mechanism at stainless

i got mine from concorde and it's exactly the same one as that in the pic of zix888

I'll have to try out this brand. I've gone through 2 generic brands (trenz and another one) from the automotive sections of true value and handyman, but the spring mechanisms on those gave out quickly. One even broke apart while I was driving on SLEX!
