on reset, you lose your favorite saved radio stations and all other customized settings (i.e. balance, fader, trebel, mid, bass, mic gain, usb gain, tuner gain, etc)

    all will return to default

Alright. If not too much of a hassle, kindly post the link here, so we can be spared from going there in winterpine just for a simple update. Thanks bro

if you will do the update yourself and something goes wrong, will winterpine/autovention still honor the warranty on the unit?

Siguro naman sir if update lang eh okay pa sa warranty, hindi naman sila mag eemail ng executable file to sir tuazon7 and jayceetie if it's warranty issue. Share ko lang din that the 1st time i went there for an update, they saw my extension cable, they were really interested parang gusto nila negosyohin. They asked me pa how i did it.

I agree, it's just an update and technically, the unit will not be dismantled.

Gentlemen, I got a 2011 GLS V, I loosened my spare tire today to check tire pressure before a long drive tomorrow and when I tightened it back I noticed that it is not rigidly fixed. I did not check the situation before I removed it. May I ask if your spare tires are rigidly fix or is moving/vibrating a bit. Thanks

Maybe you need to tighten the screw that moves the spare tire going up. It should not move because if its tight enough, the side wall of the tire will be pushing against the body, there is no way it will vibrate

I already tightend it, and the tire is actually pushing on to the steel bar that supports it. Then when I try to push the spare tire, gumagalaw pa rin ng konti. Im not sure if yours is the same. If I can find a MS parked somewhere I will check it. lolz anyway thank you. Kindly please your spare tire if it is budging a little? But only if youre not busy.

Did you check if its really the tire which is moving? Or maybe just the cover? Kasi checked mine, the cover moves a little , but the tire is fixed. Palagay ko yun ang sinasabi mo nagmomove

I have the same experience. I once got a flat tire and used the spare tire. When I returned the spare tire to it's place, it moves a bit no matter how tight the screw is. It does not rattle though and it's just a very small movement when intentionally pushed. I don't think it moves when running. Its probably normal I guess.

Actually sir yung plastic tire cover talagang magmOve siya no matter how tight ang pagka-set niya. You can check this by simply moving the tire itself and not the cover, just manuever your hand so you can touch the tire, you will find out sir that it is fixed. Yung plastic cover naman kasi yung pinakacenter portion lang ang nakadikit sa surface nung wheel, yung ibang portion hindi naman talaga perfectly lapat, so talagang magmomove siya. But definitely wont make any vibration sound

if any, that plastic rear tire cover is a good idea

it discourages theft of the rear tire

i have not hear of montys having their rear tire stolen

no need to install those ungainly and ugly chains, padlocks or what have you

makes me wonder why other car manufacturers did not adopt the same concept

Here in Sta Rosa Laguna, winterpine technician has a regular schedule para pumunta sa planta to attend to all kinds of concerns regarding AVT units. Sa kaso nung monitor ko (my Montero is roughly 8months old), pag naka radio ako bigla nagpa-pop up yung nav map and yung iba ibang configurations nya, which is so annoying. It was repaired last last Thursday, radio unit was replaced to be exact. Ngayon ok na ulit. I was also informed by winterpine that their technician is doing regular rounds sa lahat ng mitsubishi dealership sa buong luzon, even in visayas and mindanao. Whay the winterpine representative at the dealership does is to get as much number of customers with concerns, para i notify ang winterpine mainoffice for their technician to do the rounds.

    regards/
