Update na lang sir, i am not sure if my brother who bought my sd cable will be here on december, he works there in china. If makakauwi siya and wala ka pa din mahanap, pasabay na lang tayo sa kanya. Btw here is what i did to my extension cable.

Had to make a custom opening in such a way that the sd card slot will be forced fitted plus wrapped around double sided tape. Because if just mounted with double sided tape, you cannot close the compartment. Pretty secured mounting naman siya, so anytime may update, its really very convenient to get the sd card. Thanks

Did anybody also tried using 'destination - intersection- press any letter, then it hangs' on the 1.9a version? Seems to be the same issue with this sequence on the 1.7a version...

Bro meron pang dapat ayusin ang inav diyan sa 1.9a. Thats why i switched back muna sa 1.8a. Destination, poi, type P, A, hang na after that

i am still on v1.7a and when i entered this sequence, my unit did not hang

in fact, sobrang daming POIs with PA na lumabas including PArking garage entrances

so far, even the 1.7a is good

got me from makati to alaminos and back on two different routes (via zambales going there to enjoy the scenery and via tarlac going back) accurately



EDIT: the sequence i did was menu -> destination -> POI -> P -> A -> Go

i did not use intersection

Yeah, tried this on my white version 1.7 and worked fine.

I've noticed version 1.9 can detect speed cameras at slex. Dunno how's that but I slow down. And they've updated the animation at skyway to look more real.

Sir zix didn't know what happened to my sd card extension. Tried calling to follow up but they didnt understand my mandarin... I just let my friend talk, but, only in his free time. hopefully I get this month.

resetting (meaning pressing that teeny button on the left hand side of the head unit) will not make you lose your maps

i already did this before when my lcd screen hangs

but just in case you do lose your maps for some reason, then its off to warranty claim for your avt unit

Resetting will not erase the maps sir. The only way you can lose the maps is when you erase the contents of the sd card. Our navi is really dependent on the sd card. I already tried turning on the navi without the sd card, and it would not open. Also tried to put other maps on it, working but distorted. Check ko nga yung mga files one by one nung sd card baka may pwede upgrade like the voice or instead na arrow i could change it to vehicle just like the portable navis na downloadable mga sounds and figures, pero so far dead end.
