is fast forward (hold down next button) working on your MID? for iPod, it does work. but for USB, i can't seem to make it work. Anything i'm doing wrong? appreciate your help

How did you do your computation sir?
By the way, correct me if i'm wrong but fuel consumption is expressed in L/km and km/L is fuel efficiency. 6.5km/L is little low but that really depends on many contributing factors.

Full tank after consuming the fuel full tank again, divide the number of km/no of liters.

Normal driving sir. Iam just curious because my SA told me its about 10km a liter.

what is your average speed?

i am getting this reading too but my average speed is 14km/h

at this FC, i already travelled 294km, my gas guage is still at 1/2 and i have 160km to go until i have to hit the gasoline station

with this, i am more than satisfied already since my previous rides (both gasoline and diesel) can hardly get 5.5km/l on this speed

when my average speed is 18km/h, i am hitting at least 7km/L FC

of course, i am still going to do the manual computation of my FC during my next top up

it is called the Mitsubishi Multi Information System. the official supplier is winterpine. you can call or go to their shop to check prices, availability and compatibility with the GLX. or you can check alternative options to this also

may kaibigan ako kumuha ng gls-v na montero 2/3 weeks ago. after a week sinoli niya kasi mausok masyado at mabaho masyado ang usok. dinala nya sa casa at sabi normal lan daw to, after comparing sa ibang unit, hindi mausok at smelly ang usok ng ibang units dun. so nag insist siya na isoli at palitan ang unit or ipa sstop nya payment sa bank.
pumayag ang casa na palitan ang unit nya. may nangyari na ba sa ibang montero owner na ganito ang usok ng unit nila?
btw, un unit na sinoli nya aya BLACK, baka i refurbished ng casa un at kamalas naman ng makakakuha ng unit na un!

Bakit after a week pa? dapat chineck na niya dun sa casa mismo nung kinuha niya at di na niya tinanggap. Anyway wala man lang check check? hehe soli na agad lupet ng friend mo ah... Just my input 4D56 engine ng monty similar sa ibang jeep kung di ako nagkakamali, slight usok pag diin sa gas, slight usok pag cold start medyo mabantot nga (admitted) pero kasing bantot lang ng tucson namin na 2009 crdi old look pareho sila V-Power... Nung akin kasi on the spot chineck ko sabi ko sa magrerelease "ikaw muna magstart full blast aircon, pag umusok di ko tatanggapin" ayun wala naman...

So far kanina nagpalit ako Unioil medyo naging mild yun amoy ng tambutso unlike sa V-Power or Petron TD na ang tapang ng amoy.


Anyway thanks sa info, pa-post naman saang casa "conduction sticker" "engine number" "body number" tsaka yun "stencil" ba yun kung alam ng friend mo para may reference tayo...

Based saan yan sir? thru MID or own computation? Medyo mababa boss ahh baka naman galit kayo sa gas at preno? adik sa overtake? or massive idling?? yun sakin kasi although GLS-V lang I think pareho naman engine and GTV has 5 speed pa nga so dapat mas matipid pa mine gets 9.4 AVG Km/l sa MID pero for sure mas mababa ng konti yan if compute mo on your own my KM is 709km combined edsa traffic, c5, idlings, and 2minutes waiting time pag kagarahe (walang turbo timer eh)

The MID cost 87k sa Citimotors parts...doubt if there is trade-in kase sa parts siya and not sa accessories...

+1 sa Unioil. Had 3 full tanks na and felt the same power as sa TD. sa usok, not particular as don't like the smell naman talaga ng exhaust fumes...

My GTV gets 8.5 to 9.5 km/l city driving on the MID. I once got 6.5 km/l but that was going up to the mountains.

I'm not a fan of matics kasi sir and the next MT variant is 4x4 na, which I don't really need. Will be using the Monty mostly for everyday city driving lang. But yes, I've read discussions about having 4x4 when needed as an advantage, pero nagtitipid na lang din siguro ako. Haha.

i agree. don't get the 4x4 if you don't need it. the 4x4 system needs to be used to keep the bearings in good condition
