My GTV gets 8.5 to 9.5 km/l city driving on the MID. I once got 6.5 km/l but that was going up to the mountains.

I hope mine will improved when I hit 10k km

boss normyline22, I suppose what is on the accessory list you have is the aftermarket GPS/DVD from AVT and not the OEM MID. Kita ko din po yan sa list nila, with trade-in nga...yun MID sa parts section po sya and not sa accessories. Nga po pala, does the GLX have an RV meter? Need po kasi Ito para pwede po din yun MID...

Ahhh okay now I understand thanks sir for the enlightenment! Meaning yun for sale nila AVT aftermarket, hindi kagaya nung sa GLS-V na although AVT din eh built-in yun MID niya... I see isee ... Have no idea regarding that RV meter... hehehe

hi prince, i think what sleepy is referring to is the turning radius. Monty offers a g very good turning radius which is actually better than the 05crv i used to have considering its size.

hi sleepy, i think i know what you are saying since i have observed the same thing, which is what i also would like to have the casa check-out also when i have my next pms at 5k kms. I may have to dis-agree on over power assist though as it is precisely the thing i would like to clarify casa as to why, in full turn, the steering wheel does not return immediately into center position requiring the driver some effort to turn it back.

hindi ko naabutan kung panu niya eksakto tinanggal yun ibabaw eh nag-cr kasi ako, pero pagbalik ko wala naman akong nakitang tools siya na hawak except dun sa cutter pang alis nun seal tsaka yun roll ng tape na ginamit yata niya ulet as seal. Although hindi ako sure kung clip type or may ginamit siyang tools na hindi ko napansin.

same issue for me right after I got my unit. hindi agad siya bumabalik sa gitna kelangan may tulong mo. Pero na-notice ko kasi bumpy so adjusted the tire pressure from 47front-48rear to 30-front-32rear tapos I am now on my 700++ kms medyo bumabalik na siya kusa sa gitna pero bitin pa din ng quarter turn hindi sakto gitna "pero wala ng tulong yun from me" .. pacheck ko din sa 1k pms yun akin pag derechong derecho kasi yun manibela ko pumapaling ako pakaliwa even sa expressway/ skyway kelangan medyo...

Bakit after a week pa? dapat chineck na niya dun sa casa mismo nung kinuha niya at di na niya tinanggap. Anyway wala man lang check check? hehe soli na agad lupet ng friend mo ah... Just my input 4D56 engine ng monty similar sa ibang jeep kung di ako nagkakamali, slight usok pag diin sa gas, slight usok pag cold start medyo mabantot nga (admitted) pero kasing bantot lang ng tucson namin na 2009 crdi old look pareho sila V-Power... Nung akin kasi on the spot chineck ko sabi ko sa magrerelease "ikaw muna magstart full blast aircon, pag umusok di ko tatanggapin" ayun wala naman...

So far kanina nagpalit ako Unioil medyo naging mild yun amoy ng tambutso unlike sa V-Power or Petron TD na ang tapang ng amoy.


Anyway thanks sa info, pa-post naman saang casa "conduction sticker" "engine number" "body number" tsaka yun "stencil" ba yun kung alam ng friend mo para may reference tayo...

nabwiset kz friend ko sa casa, una kz nun knuha nya my 120km mileage na sa monty, pero ang sbi ng SA ay dinala un ng delivery truck nila. so dapat zero mileage, kun bnyahe from manila to casa mga 90km lan dapat distance. baka pina test drive nila. tpos un magaling na SA tumawag sa banko para sa insurance na sinabi nya na pumayag daw friend ko sa kasa na kukuha ng insurance, pero di naman siya pumayag sa SA before.

about 4d56 engine mausok tlaga pero compare sa nakuha iba lakas ng usok nito at smell nya. nag compare nga din siya sa ibang stock units, un kanya lang ang kakaiba. anyway napalitan na ng bago unit nya at siyempre ibang color kinuha nya.

i saw how they removed it. it is pretty easy but you just have to be careful as it is all secured by plastic clips. if you break one clip, it may not hold the whole cover properly and worse, it may cause squeaking/rattling sounds

would i do it myself? perhaps if urgently needed. but since everything is still under warranty, i would rather have the technicians do it and pass on all the risk and damages to them

In that case sa susunod na lang na update ako, medyo allergic ako sa pagbabaklas ng plastic parts eh, squeaking/vibration agad ang kalalabasan. I will try to make siguro an extension for the sd, parang adaptor, tapos dun na lang sa may ipod/usb ko i-mount para hindi bukas ng bukas ng headunit cover everytime map update is needed.*

Unioil kahit cold start sa umaga kasabay ng full blast aircon including rear halos invisible na usok after 1 week of unioil compared sa v-power visible pa pag cold start... V-power once in a while lang siguro for clean-up

Ohhh plastic clip lang pala, anyway mine had this rattling sound sa headunit bago pa niya buksan, after niya buksan may parang wiring na sabog sabog, nung tinali niya ng ayos nawala yun rattling...

follow up questions:

1. does monty look good on 20" tires?
2. is it still safe for off road?
3. how much is the damage for 20" tires and rims? meron kayong alam na trade in?
4. i heard that when upsizing or downsizing tires... it need to pass the "tire calculator". ok lang ba ang 265/50/20 from 17" stock?

Stock overall height is 30.56"
265 50 20s will be 30.43", same na yan sir, definitely will not change speedometer reading. Btw our stock wheels and tires doesnt show the correct reading eh. We tried putting 265 70 17 just to experiment what exact tire measurement will give the accurate speedometer reading. indeed it was a match, bottomline we need 31.6" overall height to get accurate reading on our speedometers

Walang siyang underseal paps... Painted lang siya, ang may buga lang ng manipis na coating eh yun wheel wells tsaka yun kapirasong mga dulo sa ilalaim kulay grey pa nga ata yun. I opted for additional undercoat at ziebart
