Picked up my GTV this afternoon from Garyq at Antipolo near Sta. Lucia Mall.

It took almost an hour to commute from Santolan LRT2 station to Burger King on Marcos Highway. Terrible traffic!

The workmanship was superb. I am super O.C. when it comes to anything and everything. So I was extremely happy to see very clean wiring.

Driving home I could immediately distinguish the vast difference in terms of output of the OEM Plastic Projector and Aluminum quad setup.

Here is a video showing the cheap Plastic projector that Mitsubishi put into our GTV.

Cool your backup camera even tells you were to stop. I haven't seen that before.

this is the camera i like. according to UMC Paco, this costs P6,000. with this camera, there is no need to make holes in the bumper

it is similar in location to the rear camera of the tahoe

how much did this cost you?

I own an 4x2 gls-V and planning to install HID and super yellow Fog lights? will the warranty be void by this?

I have no experience in using back-up cameras. Does it turn on automatically when you shift reverse or do have to switch it on?

If you have your HID and Fog lights installed by Winterpine they will assume the warranty.
Winterpine is the exclusive accessories provider of Mitsubishi.
There is two types of HID the Plug and Play which causes glare and Retrofit HID which produces maximum intensity and distance.

Most rear cams are automatic. Mine, similar to that posted by bjreyesmd, activates when in reverse gear and the video feed replaces anything showing on the MID. But I also read somewhere that someone connected a switch so that you can activate it even while not in reverse gear.

Ma-void ang warranty if makita ng casa, pwede naman tanggalin before mo ipasok sa casa. Yun plug and play won't cause a glare since naka-projector naman

Me & Ian of Strada club test drove the Montero GTV & Strada GLS Sport VGT.. We both had the same observation that the acceleration of the Strada was faster & the power of the VGT was more felt on the Strada.. As an owner of a 3.2 monty with some minor engine mods i felt that the accleration of the Monty with VGT was just quite similar with my 3.2 monty..

I will upgrade my horn to a PIAA 500/600 mhz 116db
I remove/replaced the Plastic Junk Projector and remove/replaced the 9005 High beam with Retrofit HID.

Mga Sir, I am new in this forum,, pano po ba mag reset ng Fuel Tank level / Km., un meter ko says 300 Kms pa ang pwede takbuhin kahit malapit ng mag empty ang tank. mine is GLS-V , thanks in advance

Yes, I would think there would only be a slight difference considering the HP difference is only about 10-15HP. IMO, the main factor between the 3.2 monty and the new 2.5 VGT lies in the fuel consumption. You get slightly more power and acceleration, but lesser fuel consumption.

Tap the fuel tank meter on the MID, and then tap reset. You will see this in the Car Info display of the MID

please help. If the blue LED is not blinking valet mode ba yun? and if its blinking naka alarm mode? am i right or baliktad?
