ang daming blind spot ng monty. pagliliko mahina ang ilaw, share mo naman sir what you learn about the AFS. self leveling ba projector headlight ng montero?

Mas bagay itong mitsubishi oem 20" with 265 50 tires sa gtv ko. Try ko kung makakuha ko nito in uk, sa kanila lang meron lumabas ng ganito style.*

I got my GLS-V unit last May and I noticed that the seatbelt warning sign on the panel gauge does light up when you insert and turn the key on the ignition, goes off after starting even if I'm not wearing the seatbelt. Wala rin warning sound to indicate that I should buckle up. Asked the SA about it, ang sabi "Sir, sa hi-end lang po umiilaw and tumutunog ung seatbelt warning." Ganun din ba sa mga GLS-V unit nyo? Hindi ko lang matanggap ang explanation nya na sa hi-end (GTV?) unit lang may warning to buckle up for safety.

sis GLS-V ko wala naman nailaw na seatbelt sign...
hindi kaya airbag sign yung nakikita mo sir?

baka airbag yung napansin nya kasi yung icon naka upo rin na tao kaso naka side view pero kung yung nakita nya na taong naka upo naka harap sa kanya seat belt icon nga yon. Yung seat belt icon nasa taas ng 4WD icon at sa baba naman yung SRS o air bag

on my GTV, i have not noticed any seatbelt warning light or audible alarm

for me, it is okay. frankly, i was tired of seeing a red warning light on my instrument panel for the seatbelt. more so for the other vehicle where the passenger side seatbelt warning not only lights up but gives out a very audible alarm also. it can at times be irritating

although i know it is not safe, there are times when i just prefer not to wear a seatbelt during short jaunts around the makati CBD or after a badminton game in the evening

Agree ako dito! seatbelt warning is so very irritating!

On the subject of fading letter V, kanina ko lang napansin na nagfade na din pala yung sa unit ko. Am not really worried as i am really planning on having my decals removed anyway!

Thanks don, Ben10city and 111Prez for the replies and inputs. I'll take a look later kung seatbelt nga yun or airbag. Na-compare ko kse sa Honda City 2010 ng friend ko na may warning light and audible beep as a reminder.

Yup. I agree it's irritating but it's better to be safe than sorry sabi nga nila.

i can attest now that the montero wont start if the transmission is on drive. made the mistake of leaving it on drive last night. it didnt want to start this morning. akala ko kung ano na nangyari hehehe

this feature(safety) has been around for quite a while for AT tranny...happened also with me on my previous car...akala ko drained ang battery!
