Bro, to install the rear fogs, you need to remove the clips and screws of the bumper but on one side only, where the rear fog is located. Di ko pa napalagyan ng switch pero pwede raw, madugo lang. Kaya directly connected ngayon sa tail lights. Better yet, isabay mo na to when you go to Carland for your headrest monitors. Btw, I was one of the firsts to purchase those damn cables for the monitors. Buti na lang the owner of Carland has strong connections sa Winterpine kaya nakakakuha sila ng cables. I heard Winterpine sells their cables to the Mitsu dealers only...Now that's terrible.

I'm scheduled to get my Monty GLS-V this 20th of april.

I've heard from JEDI that the cables /Video out of the AVT NAV unit for the head rest monitors are around 4k, so I asked my SA that I wouldnt go for the free 3M tint (I'm inkling for the V-kool anyway) and would like to opt for the cables instead. Doeas anybody has a picture of the cable? I'd like to show him , because until now, he doesnt have an idea about it ( what else is new??).

Why not just call winterpine since they supppy mitsu? Doon na dumertso my installer plus the reverse camera that i got was only 3.5k but the casa was charging 7.5k. At least your warranty wont be voided since they also do the install for the dealers

I think that problems of white smoke are isolated cases and I'm confident that MMC will do its best to solve the problems of the affected clients.
I can testify as an owner that I have no more issues of white smoke after the 1,000 PMS. Currently my unit's Km reading is at 2,400 kms.
I enjoy driving the monty GLS-V and I consider it as a Good Buy.

What are you trying to qualify for?

Qualify for membership. I asked because when I browsed with other Montero groups outside of PH, their original or initial members are Monteros with a Pajero body, and the Montero sport Gen 1 (strada whole body).

Isn't it that the name Montero came out of the series of Pajeros in the US? Mostly classified as Monteros being Gas and Pajero on Diesel. Feel free to correct me.

I'd like to address people if they ask this question back in our club.

Hello there, haven't been here for years.

Anybody out there know where I can find the engine number for the 3.2 Montero? 3 yrs na time to register. Problem is non appearance ako lagi so I always stencil it on my own or have the driver do it.

Would appreciate the help (I've backread a bit someone answered for the 2.5 version).

our company owns a fleet of stradas and we recently got a 4x2 at with the vgt engine - from our experience this white smoke only appears when the vehicle has not been used or even turned on for extended periods of time (as in the case when the vehicles are new and have been run during shipment and storage) - given that our units are sometimes used on rotation.

however we discovered that continued use eventually clears up this white smoke - when we asked dealer, their tech guy said that it was due to the emission control system (EGR) that causes this white smoke initially but continued use will clear it up. Of course, using the newer types of diesel might help. Get this I think these diesel engines are more advanced in terms of euro compliance compared to the fuel quality here in the phil. - under the clean air act - it's not until 2012 that the quality of diesel fuel is mandated to be improved.

We've just bought our 2011 MS GLS-V last monday. So far d ko nada-drive dahil and2 pa ako sa Bahrain. Pagdating ko next month eh gs2 ko na-imodify some parts of it gaya ng headlight and reverse camera.
Gusto ko i-HID kahit ang low-beam lang nya na naka-projector headlights saka yung front-fog lamps nya. Kaya guys, please tell me kung ano ang bulb types ng Low-beam at fog lights ng 2011MS. meron kasi ako dito mga dating HID conversion kit ko mula sa dating Lancer EX ko dito (non HID kz nakuha ko). Bulb types 9006(10000K) & 9005(6000K) (for the low & high beams respectively) and H11(10000k) naman sa fog lights.
Ask ko na rin if yung stock na DVD-NAVI ng 2011MS ay reverse-cam ready na rin po.
Next na project ko din eh yung "engine push-start" saka yung "smart keyless entry". I am imagining to put rin sana yung gaya ng 2010 Outlander (3.0 V6 MIVEC) ko dito na smart-keyless sya pero not push-start.

Koreans use Bosch which is German.
