Sir i have mine at 10.3 kms/L to 10.4 kms/L at 80-90 kms/h and when going 100kms/h and up it reads 9.0 kms/L down to 8.3 kms/L. I tried mine when i brought it back here in davao city. We traveled the unit by land kasi. Kaya pagdating 1st pms agad.

Hi, may I know your unit model? I'm also from Davao, last year May 2010 inuwi namin yung Pajero 97 ng bro ko from Manila, kaso lubak2x ang kalsada sa Samar, I felt pity of the car. Anyway my Monty 2010 4X4 M/t consumes ave 8.5 km/l city driving and 10 km/l on NLEX (Pampanga to Manila) ave. speed 120kph, at 100kph FC is 11 km/l.

I got mine at 1.9k only (camera attached to the rear plate) + 1k for the cables in Carland.

Rear backup camera at 1,700 that is screwed on the plate holder. You can vsist Bhoizee at Mindanao avenue. left side before shell station and the intersection of tandang sora, Quezon City.

Could anyone please help me about the MID? i am little bit confuse because it is not included in the manual

1. My 1st question is before i turn off the engine of Montero, I hold for about 3 seconds the circle button in the radio and it will bring me back to Multi information display, I think it is the proper way to turn off your MID eventhough it is not turning off. Is it right? How do we completely turn off the MID. In my other cars, i always turn off the radio before turning off the engine so the radio wont get busted.

2. And my second question is that our voice navigation doesn't talk. We brought our montero to our SA and he told us that we gotta open and see in the MID the words "radio on" and then click the NAV button. Everything is alright and the voice navs works.but now that's my problem. I saw on my MID now, it says "radio off" eventhough the radio is on and im hearing a music. How do we change that thing?. I tried pressing in the MID the words "radio off" but nothing happens. I also tried pressing the circle button, but still no luck. Please help me! I think that's the only reason why our voice navigation doesnt talk for now. Thanks in advance!

I used to fill up with an ordinary diesel fuel after i got the GLSV but after 2 weeks i tried the v power type and after 1 week of regularly filling up with the v power type, the emission improved. The power increased a bit. The video that I sent was with the v power type fuel no white smoke. Also what i observed is once the unit clocked 2,000 kms. The issues of smoke reduced a lot. Maybe the factory lubricants have worn off already.

BPI car loan advised us that they can get us a unit on Carworld(north luzon) which is far from our location (Q.C.)

will this be a problem in case i go with their proposal, get the unit from carworld in case i have some things needed to be done on the unit after we acquire it.

would it be better to just get the unit from dealers nearby (citi, diamond or union)

or it doesn't really matter

Regarding the smoke issue, my gtv is now on its 3000kms reading, and the smoke is just at start up

Sir, May I give my opinion, I got my unit from San Pablo, Laguna. When I requested for the the unit by wednesday, They delivered the unit to manila by Saturday. Mabilis sila mag release ng unit. My first worry was the same as yours, will i get the same service from the other Mitsu dealers even though I didnt get the unit from them? I tried it on the 1,000 PMS by bringing my unit to Mitsubishi dealer in Marcos Hiway. I got a good fast and very professional service from them.

here's a suggestion - take your approved loan to your nearby dealers and ask them to match the bank rates. I'm pretty sure they can do that. Then, buy the unit from the dealer who can deliver the fastest.

i also tried using different fuels on the first 2 weeks and our ms seemed to perform better with it, particularly during acceleration. This is just my opinion. The drawback is that the v-power is more expensive than the other brands.

Hi Jay. My Tagalog is almost zero; but I get the jist of some of your post.
I too live four hours (which I do in a little over three hours ) from nearest dealer. This drive entails a mountain crossing .
As for the remote; Sir Pogey-uy posted the reset procedure way back. I think it is hold the 'up' arrow and the '-' together for a few seconds.

Make sure the rear seats are clicked into position and the tool kit is strapped in.

Just had my 1k pms and still no smoking issues except for the third day of ownership with extended idle (20 mins). Lots of black smoke from vehicles in front of me traveling over the mountain yesterday. Even a starex emitted grey smoke overtaking . The fortuners/hiaces are the worst though (worse than jeepneys); but I put a lot of it down to the drivers being in too high a gear. I solved these problems by zooming by them on the shortest of straights.

I'm not able to read this thread for almost two months because I"ve been home (Philippines) for a vaction, now I am back here somewhere in Europe, I've got a lot of time back-reading the thread

sir maz, i've experienced and noticed also the vibrating like banging each other hard plastic noise under the dashboard at the passenger's front seat. I was puzzled for that for a couple of days.

But when I opened the front cabinet (or whatever the name of it) I found out that my daughter had a stock of about 10 audio CD cases inside. when I removed those CDs no more noise.

Try to clean up that small compartment.
