sir, anong size yung STT na 12k na tinanong nyo? weird naman...kasi huling tanong namin not so recently yung 285/75/16 9.7k lang..

265/70/17 ang quote sa akin... come to think of it. Parang mas mura if mag 16" na lang ako... for 1 inch of goma parang malaki ata jump... sa wheelset rin around 10k difference between 16 and 17

heehee! tempting!!! kasi trip ko talaga is big tires para macho tingnan. Mas mura pa gulong. bwahaha. Will check out T Mapua to see whats available. I've been looking around and I really like the XD wheel designs.

ah ok sir...hehe....grabe pala price difference ng STT sa AT hehe....yung AT na 17's parang less than 7k lang 6.4k if I can recall correctly..

inde mababalance ang wheels pag 15" ang mags in most shops dahil tatama yung tinga sa caliper....unless they have those ultra thin wheel weights...which I only read in magazines and Im not even sure if we have it here....So if you pursue of cutting the cost by using 15's then be ready for some ultra shaky steering not to mention the road sensitive steering the strada has.....So it would be really an undesirable combination if you push through with that...

Still haven't observed any steering wheel vibration at moerate to high speeds sa highway. Sa solid rocky gravel road lang when hitting speeds of 60kph. Actually yung buong dash na ang nag-vibrate sa lupit ng daan at sa angas ng driver. Feeling siguro naka reservoir gas shocks.

Hehe. Kung nakapili na kayo ng KMC XD Series wheels, sir, check nyo muna sa website ng KMC kung existing ba yung model na nagustohan nyo. Dami na kasing fake ngayon. Meron ngang Mamba Type M1 talaga ang design except for the center cap.

Checked with Ryco and the AT3 are around 8k and the STT's are 12k so I am assuming na yun S/T's are in the middle so mga 10k? This is for 265/70/17 tires.

If the s/t's are in the 10k range might as well get the pirelli scorpions atr. Mas logical ba na choice yun pirellis?

Sir Ry, which Cooper tire are installed in your Strada?

Sa Paj ko yung Cooper ATR. Sa Strada namin ng cousi ko for business eh BStone na orig pa. 25,000kms plus pa lang natatakbo nun eh. hauling lang kasi ng computer and aircon for repairs/tune-up from business to haws kaya hindi bugbog sa biyahe. hehe

Next year pa palit nung Strada and malamang Cooper or Savero na lang.

Newer technology of the STZ make's it the more appealing tires if ever. But the Scorpion is indeed great as well.

Kung same price lang, I'd choose the STZ. Their tread design has better siping for water dispersion. Mostly highway naman yung gamit natin so it's safer at high speeds on wet asphalt. Plus you get the macho labels.

cost efficient wise i think going to 16 would be better... i decided to stick with 17 and I am currently having a hard time looking for tires and mags.... dagdagan mo pa na mas mahal ang goma

thanks sphinx. I think stock na yung 16 ng strada. im from western visayas kasi. either i get the unit in bacolod or iloilo.
