Hi mga sirs,
I'm currently hunting for the best deals out there. Planning to get Strada GLX.
Question how much yung chattel, TPL, insurance niyo nung nagavail kayo ng Strada niyo?
Kung pwede freebies na nahaggle niyo rin. :D
Thanks!![]()
We at the Cebu chapter just held a successful fun run /outreach yesterday Sunday. 16 Stradas in convoy. The children in the outreach had a great time and the people and the cars in the opposite lane really took notice of the convoy, literally with several who turned their heads and watched us go by.
For my daily use, I normally get 8-9km/liter on my 2.5 glx 4x2. For this fun run, I normed 11.5km/liter, 213kms using 18.6 liters.
Good pm sir...
I myself bought a GLX last nov 2010. some advise/things i would have differently would be:
a. Insurance. almost always exagerated yung price in paper. parating tinatawaran yan (if not nahahaggle for free). may casa na ang insurance price nila on paper nasa 40plus. dapat nasa 20 something lang. try asking na din kung pwedeng waive yung first deductible. and ask kung may ibang in-house insurance provider, etc.
b. standard freebies (tint, seatcover, mats). to be frank about it, walang kwenta yang mga yan kapag galing sa casa. its something na i would have done differently. i read dito sa tsikot, baka pwede mo irequest na wag na isama yung mga 'freebies' na yon then add discount na lang sa price instead. go for that, kasi you'll just end up replaceing those anyway.
c. extended warranty. may nabasa din ako na kung talagang kuripot sila sa discount, baka pwede niyo mahirit yung 'extened warranty' instead. at least you'll be getting something pa din. (though extened warranty works both ways, it could be good or bad).
d. kung cash buyer po kayo wag niyo sabihin sa agent. akala ko mas makakadiscount kapag cash buyer, yon pala baliktad. agents prefer pala na installment ko hence may give better deals.
shop around sa different branches/casa.
and may recommended agents po ang club, try them.
Goodluck

Hi Guys,
Just got this information from my SA from Valle Verde.
May price increase daw sa September ang Strada. 30K daw for Strada GLX M/T.
Tapos hirap daw humanap ng Red GLX MT kasi may darating daw na 2012 version O.o
Gaano kaya katotoo to?
:D
Good Day,
Asking for food of thought, sa mga user ng FNN air filter for strada, yung OEM part mayroon pang padding, where the filter is seating while the FNN air filter(33-2951) basing on the pics. seems filter lang at walang padding sa ilalim, please correct me if mali ang tingin ko. I also browsed the Hurricane filters, what is your feedback to this hurricane, seems also washable as they claimed & cheaper than FNN by almost half of the price.
Thanks for any info/comments.
RTS
HI sir RTS!
first po...KNN po yung brand sir hehe....
second yung sinasabi nyo yatang pading is yung thin foam lang which IMO parang wala lang dun use hehe...
I'm Very much satisfied po with KNN...medyo pricey lang pero the best parin talaga rather than the other filters...![]()
Salamat sir,
Pero mukhang mapupurnada pa pagkuha ko. wala na raw 2011 Strada GLX MT(
Phased out na raw, 2012 model na raw darating this august.
Tataas siya ng 30K.
Sabi sa Valle Verde, accessories lang daw ang bago.
Sabi sa Citimotors Makati, may ABS na raw at integrated na ang alarm sa key.
Ano ba talaga totoo?
Hayz
Hi Sir locorocco 777,
Thanks for your reply & sorry for the typo error, so then I'll go for FNN then even price is a little stiff but in the long run still economical pa rin not like the OEM disposable & cost Php2K +. Is the cleaning liquid & oil "A must"to be with?
RTS
yup definitely sir....its good to have that recharging kit but I think it would survive without it hehe...
Actually, pwedeng isang tipid sachet of any liquid dishwashing soap ang gamitin sa cleaning. Ibabad lang (totally submerged) for 1 hour, rinse with slow running water tapos air dry away from sunlight. Pero yung recharger kailangan yung K&N talaga. Di pwede penetrating oil as substitute.
