May GT at MX variant na ba ulit? Ang gulo kasi eh.. Grabe na yung GT-A 1.295m.. 10k na lang may 3.2 GLS Sport Strada ka na!

mukhang nawala na sa line-up yung GT.

Mga sir, alam nyo ba kung possible magpakabit sa casa mismo nung rear spoiler? MX kasi yung sa akin, parang trip ko yung spoiler ng GT-A. Hehe.

Ganun din yung stock mags ng GT-A, kung pwede magpakabit nun sa casa, kahit na MX yung unit ko.

Bakit casa... kasi iniiwasan ko lang may ma-void na kahit anong part nung warranty. Hehe.

car clubs are usually a good source of used parts/accessories.

as for voiding your warranty with body kits, panakot lang ng dealers yan. i have installed body kits on my cars before, never had a problem with warranty claims. normally, pag cosmetic changes, warranty is not voided.

not true for performance upgrades. (lowering, turbocharging, and the like.) warranty will be voided for certain parts/systems of the car that are directly connected with the upgrade.

Yung EX nyo ba ay maingay ang makina around 2K - 3K rpm? Kasi according to reviews, it's like that, in fact with polarizing opinions (sabi nung iba, it sounds like a cow -- horrendous daw... sabi naman ng iba, it has a nice sporty exhaust sound esp compared to other sedans in its class).

Napapansin ko yung loud exhaust sound in that rpm range, dun sa unit ko. Pero there are other owners na natanong ko, regular lang daw yung tunog nung sa kanila, hindi malakas. So ano ba talaga ang normal sa EX?

I remember nung break-in period pa lang, hindi ko naririnig yung exhaust note masyado... ngayong fully conditioned na yung makina after near 10K kms, ayun aggressive na yung tunog kapag naka paddle-shifted mode.

subjective naman yung sound. for some owners, malakas, for others, ok lang.

i agree, the engine usually starts to growl at 2.5 to 3k. normal if you ask me.

What the hell? Is that even allowed? Ang laki naman nung tinaas. I got mine for 960 thousand and ngayon 1,050,000 na siya? Unbelievable. Try calling Citimotors Alabang to check if they also raised the price.

Mga sir medyo OT,balak po kasi ng tita ko na mamili ng new car nila so sabi ko ung Lancer Ex GLS na lang kunin nila.I already told them na 970k ung price kasi nakita ko before Cash po kasi nila kukunin.But when i checked their website 1.50 m na ung GLS.Ang laki ng tinaas.Baka kung ganun kalaki ung tinaas nya baka mag back out na ung Tita ko.Sayang naman Can Anyone confirm this?TIA.

Hinala ko yung prices ng Mitsu Phils ngayon is for CBU pa rin? Ang mahal kasi talaga ng yen ngayon.

Pero akala ko ba lalabas na yung mga local assembled this Feb.

About the Carworld website, it's so outdated. Look at the MX specs, it's still with drum brakes. Lahat ng EX variants ngayon dito sa atin, naka all-disc brakes na. Pati yung mga colors nila dun, some don't even exist anymore.

about the prices,

you should visit your dealers, tumaas nga ang listed price pero ang taas din ng discount na binibigay nila.

for example, ang listed price ng GLS is P1,050,000 pero may cash discount na P125,000. that means yung net price ng GLS is just P925,000 nalang.

yung GT-A naman listed price is 1,295,000 pero may cash discount na 155,000. net price 1,140,000 nalang.

despite the increased listed price, cheaper na ngayon ang lancer EX due to discounts of more than P100,000. . confirm it with your dealers. kaka-inquire ko lang nung friday.

If this is the case, for the GT-A, the net effect is ang laki ng ibinaba compared sa CBU... almost back to the introductory price of the CBU 2 years ago. Yung GLS and GLX nga lang, lumalabas mas mahal pa rin ata kesa dati.

Sorry, i was referring to the old price of the GLX which was even lower than 890K... pero dati pa yun, bago magkaroon ng sunod-sunod na price increase yung base model hanggang sa hindi na makalaban sa Civic at Altis sa presyo.

But at least now... patas na ang labanan, price-wise, with its competitors. Naku, dadami na ang Lancer EX sa kalye, baka maging parang Civic... nagkalat. :D

Meron ba lahat yan dito sa pinas? Nung CBU pa kasi, konti lang colors.

Pero nawala sa list sa taas ang color nung sa akin... platinum beige. Ang weird kasi nung CBU pa yung MX, yung lower models ang may "exclusive" colors (dark blue and platinum beige), i.e. hindi available sa GT and GT-A... baligtad!

Sorry, i was referring to the old price of the GLX which was even lower than 890K... pero dati pa yun, bago magkaroon ng sunod-sunod na price increase yung base model hanggang sa hindi na makalaban sa Civic at Altis sa presyo.

But at least now... patas na ang labanan, price-wise, with its competitors. Naku, dadami na ang Lancer EX sa kalye, baka maging parang Civic... nagkalat. :D

Ako I don't mind if nag kalat na sila... Better style naman EX sa Civic and sa 12 days kong nag dridrive so far wala pa naman ako nakikitang kapareho.. GT-A lang nakita ko.

I really plan to mod my car so that it won't look really ordinary. Like I said in my post above, the 18's are my top priority. Called up Atoy.. Meron sila 18 na Concept One wheels and rims. Yun pinag iipunan ko. Tapos spoiler. Yun nalang muna.

I'd stay away from concept one if i were you (and if there were other similar rim designs available)

Super bigat niyan (aside from the fact that they're quite expensive) and your FC and acceleration (more importantly for us!) will take a hit.

I did a comparison with the stock 16" rims on our civic:

Civic 1.8S 16s = 20lbs EACH
17" Rota SDX = 16.5lbs EACH (Mugen copies)
18" Concept One Mugen copies = 33lbs EACH

Read up about unsprung weight on cars. I think you'll go for rotas din after
