Guys, we are planning to upgrade our old altis to the new Lancer EX. Which dealer do you think is the best to get one from? What packages (freebies, discounts, etc.) were you able to get?
Please PM me.
Thanks
Mars

The GT loses the following items from the GT-A:
1.) Rockgate Fosgate Audio System ( 9 speakers + 4 tweeters + subwoofer). GT comes with an OEM 6 CD HU with 6 speakers + 2 tweeters.
2.) GT's airbags are dual front + driver's knee.
3.) Auto rain-sensing wiper + auto lighting controls
4.) Automatic Transmission. GT comes in manual transmission only.

Moipogi, do you have pics of the leather seat cover? Makakagawa kaya sila ng seat cover for the GTA? May side airbags kasi eh.

October 3rd, 2008 07:31 PM #986this side airbag thing has me confused a lot sir...
nakalagay kasi sa manual, mayroon tag na SRS/Airbag sa side ng seat if there is such an airbag installed, otherwise it should be a curtain running from the pillars.even mitsu here cannot tell me where these things are since i told them i'm interested on getting leather covers too.
i hope some guys sa mitsu dyan kayang mag-elaborate

*sups, congrats pala... let us know when you have your ride!
(((IMO)))
as far as the leather seat covers are concerned, share ko lang po. i have a friend who installed leather seat covers for his Outlander GLS Sport with seat installed side airbags (which is different from the side curtain airbags deployed across the side window). What he specifically requested from the shop was not to tighten the stitch at the side to aide in the seat installed side airbag deployment. But i believe that SAs who are selling the Lancer GT-A and other models with the seat installed side airbag should educate the customer about the airbag installed should not have seat covers in the first place... i saw the memo and i'm wondering if you guys were advised. it's anyone's risk once installed. what i know, the seat installed side airbags and the curtain airbags work in unison to help the occupants in side impact protection and deployed upon impact. it is also highly advisable NOT to lean on the window/door for slouching or sleeping as anyone who does will get along the way of the airbag deployment. i hope this helps. thanks
