Babasahin ko uli dude, pero naalala ko noong bago parang may tinanong ako sa SA ko regarding sa manual, kasi ang sabi nila sa Valle Verde, every 5000km dalhin sa kanila or every 6 mos whichever comes first, tapos papalitan ng synthetic e, ang mahal, parang may inapela ako noon regarding that, ang sagot sa akin e, iba daw ang conditions sa japan pang japan daw yung nakalagay sa manual pag nasa Pinas daw yan daw ang specified ng Diamond motors. Hehe napa whatever nalang ako e

Also, may nabasa ako dito dati, pag Citimotors daw sa first 1000km hindi nag changeoil kasi fully synthetic daw. Samantala sa Diamond first 1k, changeoil...or pwede rin hindi nila pinalitan ng langis pero siningil ako ng changeoil...we'll never know.

So far what I have checked on the internet refers to the 4B11-turbo engine which requires synthetic motor oil. Aside from that I haven't seen any recommendations of using synthetic motor oil in the 4B11 engine, just the grade of motor recommended.

Well, para wala nalang hassle on my part, sinusunod ko nalang gusto nila, for fear of them voiding my warranty just in case something happens. Tulad ng 1st 1k sa diamond changeoil, sa citimotors check check lang.

Based on the service schedule at the citimotors website, there should be no oil changes in the 1000km service. It would be all checks and tightening.

nah! ... I am pretty much happy with the way the car looks right now.

The low sidewall tires also helped improve the handling of the car as compared to it's stock wheel/tires. Handling response is now sharp & immediate. Exactly they way the car felt like back in 2008 when I did the test drives of the GT and GT-A at Clark.

In the long run, I might replace the tail pipe finisher if and when it starts to rust.

I thought the unit I got was the 2010... what are the supposed difference between the EX GLS 2009 to 2010 models?

The stuff I know my unit has are:
-non-chrome front grill
-rally-art style rear tail-lights
-ten spoke 16 inch wheels (old GLS had five spoke)

So far my daily FC differs from 4km/L to 8km/L, based on the car's onboard system.

The difference is bumper-to-bumper traffic all day or free-flow driving along EDSA/C5.

I haven't tried to do highway driving yet.

No plans for adding any of the bodykits.

If I was going for the "GTA look", I would have spent the extra P200K and bought the actual GTA and get better "value" that way. Piecing together a "GTA" looking car from bits & pieces would actually cost more and still lack many things like the HID headlights that aim towards where you turn, paddle shifters, etc.

Went to Diamond Motors at Quezon Avenue yesterday. SA told me that Lancer EX GT-A now cost 1.140M from the previous price of 1.295M. Locally assembled na daw ang mga Lancer EX kaya bumaba ang price. They dont have a GT-A on display but she showed me a white Lancer EX GT (M/T) outside thier showroom.

wow this is great! just wondering though why i still see more brand new (no plates yet) Altis', Civics and Imprezas than Lancer EX's on the streets although almost 1 and a half year na nasa market ang EX.... if i only have the money now, i'd get a GT-A! just don't know why more prefer the other brands...
