Maayo diay.. anyway, here in Cebu, we have several vendors selling Sorento Accessories. And for Kia Sorento parts, you can source it out with a retailer - "Korean Autoparts", me thinks, this is the name... If the name is incorrect, well, I know where it is... here in Cebu..

According to the price list, there is no price increase. So does it mean we get the seats for free? :D

Yeah walang price increase...Pero walang kwenta yang seats nayan..Sinubukan kong sumakay dyan at hindi na ako makalabas at grabe ang sikip(ano kaya kung 10 hours ka nandyan)....

That's true. The Sorento is not meant to be a people mover. However, it would nice to have the option of seating two more people, albeit not that comfortably, should the need arise. When my nephews were smaller, they actually preferred staying at the last row seat of my Sorento. Now that they are much bigger, the last row seat remains folded most of the time.

OT, I read that Kia is developing a full-size SUV called "Mesa" which they intend to launch either in 2008 or 2009. It should seat at least 7.

Ha...ha.. ha kawawa ka naman niky. Pang driver's seat o front passenger seat ka lang. My kids especiall my son likes the 3rd row seat kasi tulugista sa byahe eh.

Just had my ride tinted today. Got my Sorento already tinted with 3M black chrome bc-35 or 20 from the casa. Wondered why it's already tinted when the customer has an option for the free car tint.

Anyway, I wanted a darker tint, the bc-10. So I went to an auto store and they recommend to just install the bc-10 to the existing tint. Night came and it's kinda hard for me to see people walking at the back of my car. Do you guys think if the tint is purely bc-10, it would somehow be clearer?

Wasn't able to put a tint on my windshield since they can't do a 1-piece job on it. Any of you guys able to have a 1-piece tint on your sorento?

My installer can do a 1 piece tint on Sorento. A lot of shops actually can. Winterpine can surely do it. They can even do 1pc front and rear but their price is quite expensive. My installer's recent work was 1pc 3M CS-20 on a Starex w/s and SolarGard Magic Dark on a Nissan Patrol w/s.

I would never recommend 'layering' tints. Never. That's just the style of a lot of shops who are too lazy or do not want to spend the time removing the old tint.

Other than the front windshield and front side windows, the Starex uses 3M CS-5 (5% light transmission aka Limo Tint, the darkest tint legal for use in some U.S. states) for all the other panes of glass and I have no trouble driving it at night.

Thanks gregg_g. Actually, I've asked CustomSorento's James about the deflector and He will get back to me for the complete price if have it shipped in manila. Bought the Headlight Neon angel eye rings and was really awesome. Mahirap nga lang ang installation but it's worth it especially sa gabi napapatingin ang mga nakakasalubong...hahaha

KIA Pasay was able to install 1-pc tint in our unit when we got it. 3M brand.

Mag kapareho ba tayo ng "imported" version na sorento? Got mine sa gray market of a friend for only P900k w/o insurance less than 200 kilometers on the odo.

Been to CFG and Autofocus, they don't have any idea of the Sunroof deflector, so I would say they don't have it... Hehe.. You might be better off buying from customsorento...

already re-tinted my sorento. went the expensive route and re-tinted it with a single layer bc-10 on all sides & found a tinter that did 1-piece bc-20 on the windshield.

mas maganda nga tingnan yong "unlayered" tint from outside..overall, am very satisfied with the final decision to make all sides bc-10 & the windshield bc-20

Dear Sorento Owners,

Do you know any shop particularly in Q.C. or Banawe area that sells parts for our sorento like tailights, headlights, sidemirrors, sidemirror assembly...etc.

I just want to make sure that I have a sure supply of parts once my Sorento is out of it's Casa warranty. Mahal kasi mag presyo yung Casa sobra. Why don't we list down some stores that carry parts/accessories for our sorries.

I agree with AutoMan that we should start to have a list. At least sa mga taga cebu like gregg_g meron na silang alam na mga Sorento accessories and parts dealer pero sa manila wala pa maliban sa casa. Pero sa past posting dito may nag post to text him pag kailangan ng Sorento parts eh. Recheck na lang mga old posting.
