kia pasay also told me that the sorento's trans fluid is for life already.
but if the owner really wants to have it replaced, like stallion said, the cost is very high. kung sakali, sa 100t kms nalang daw palitan kasi sayang magpalit ng mas maaga.

as for parts availability, wiper blades nga ay wala pang stock dito sa kia pasay. tsk tsk.

Same advice from my dealer too. Just try to continue checking it once in a while to monitor the condition of the oil. By nature it should be reddish in color and if it turns to brownish and having that burned smell then it needs changing. Since our sorento is equipped with a trans oil cooler I think will help para pahabain ang gamit ng trans oil.

    Hi Everyone,

Thanks for the reply, been busy quite lately, btw, what's the specific ratings for differential oil for our Sorrie? I have heard that for the rear, we need to put some additives because its LSD, any inputs on this/these?

    thanks in advance.

Keep on truckin w/ ur Sorento or you will be Sorrie....

    sir go1.

this is actually in my fishpond/farm in concepcion, tarlac. i maybe going there next weekend. my cp is 0917 511 0901. it would be nice to meet a fellow sorento lover.

its funny . i've been wanting to buy a strada for my second car and i see fellow sorento owners owning that vehicle too.

after having driven a sorento, i don't think i will ever drive a vehicle with a manual transmission again. i was spoiled by this vehicle that i sometimes drive it myself rather than use my driver.

Nice place you have there. I will PM you my cp number and if you do come up to Baguio next week it'll indeed be nice if we could meet up.

My Strada is M/T and it was my wife who actually suggested to buy this variant because we already have an A/T which is the Sorento. She loves A/T but she still wants to drive M/T so she won't forget how to drive one .

    Hi Everyone,

I am a bit puzzled, Kia Cebu says, rating for differential oil is SAE 140 and SAE 90 is intended for manual transmission, huh? Anybody, can clarify me on this?

    sir jean pierre:

i was in Baguio on Sept 6 and 7 together w/ my family. we stayed in mines view townhouse but i remember we went to john hay depot. cant remember if we parked in front of a hotel.

you can distinguish my fortuner by my korean grill and the outside ring of the logo covered in carbon fiber like sticker.
