has anyone here tried upgrading their sorento suspension to oldman emu? spring and shocks combination. i read in one foreign forum na night and day daw ang difference sa ride and comfort. i would like to hear from local sana para mas convincing ksi medyo mahal yng set around 45k sa rats 4x4 when i asked before. worth it kaya??? thanks

I saw one suspension set up ng isang german wherein yong front spring lang pinalitan nya at sa rear, nag add lang sya ng smaller coil spring installed sa gitna ng original bigger coil springs. He kept the original shocks. He mentioned that with that set up, nag improve ang ride comfort and he is using it to do some offroading too. Baka di naman umabot ng 45K kung saka sakali.

BTW, I saw kagabi sa channel 2 Keanna Reeves sakay ng Sorento nya sa Cebu. White/pewter ang color ng unit ni Keanna complete with rear bumper overrider pa. I was told that there is a Sorento fever sa cebu and they caught some Koreans trying to smuggle in some Sorento using Cebu port as their drop point. Totoo ba to?

Gregg_g, sayang di ka na attend sa Sorento Fun Run last saturday. It was great meeting other Sorento owners. I think we are more than 30 plus. Sarap ng breakfast sa Taal vista hotel and we had a hefty and maingay na lunch sa Sta. Rosa, Laguna. Namigay din ng "Sorentoclub of the Phils" stickers and shirts at pa raffle ng mga car stuffs and accessories. Sayang yong Sorento front chin spoiler at Sony Xplode car stereo na prizes. It was covered by AutoXtreme media ba yon at si editor ng C! magazine and his family doon din driving his black Sorento.

Gregg_g, talked to Columbian motors guys regarding the evaporator filter, sabi local Sorento doesn't have it though if they want to install it, pwede rin daw naman since provision is there. Sabi pa, this filter helps keep the interior clothing clean para di mangitim especially the roofing section

BTW, pag may nakita ka na naka angel eye na Sorento mamaya sa Autoextreme show 5 pm sa channel 9, sa akin yon...he he he. Got it installed before the Sorento Fun run last May 20. Looks really great especially sa gabi

Yes, but although I was not able to check out your Sorento, (actually had a hard time looking for your ride with the angel eyes, if it was night time, I can tell if its your ride, hehehe), but I did enjoy the sight of many Sorento's in one setting... I am sure you really had fun...

Hirap nga eh. We were not able to get a group picture with all our Sorentos lined up dahil when we reach Taal vista parking, it's almost full dahil sa may convention. Sa highway hirap din kasi we have to keep up the pace. Our convoy is traveling between 90-120 kph kaya ang bibilis kanya kanyang hataw just to avoid being stuck sa dami ng vehicles. But yeah, we really enjoyed it. BTW, you can get your Sorentoclub sticker pala pag nakapunta ka sa manila sa KIA Quezon ave. Lahat ng members na di nakajoin sa Fun Run, doon kukunin ang stickers at yong di pa member, doon din pa register.

Nang nag pa 10K service last time, spent 5800 pesos dahil specified ko na synthetic oil gamitin. Yong isa naman na nagpa 5K service (jrln) spent 3351 pesos. Picanto should be mas mura kasi sa Sorento oil pa lang ( 8 liters ) gastos na.
