I have discussed your case to the Service supervisor of KIA Wheels and he told me na dalhin mo sa WHEELS INC. unit mo at gagawan daw nila thorough checks Sorento mo dami daw dapat check to address your problem.

thanks pare problema everyday gamit ng kids ko yong sorento kaya hindi ko rin mapagawa basta basta. pero kapag may time padala ko sa wheels. kaya 80k na mileage ko. haha

yup its still working but i also suspect na may slippage na yong trans but sometimes the engine does not pass 2k rpm so i think sa engine talaga problem. i also suspected the turbo but wala naman black or white smoke sa exhaust. where ko kaya pwede dalin na casa?? any suggestions?? tia

Sorry guys di ko na kayo na nabati ng HAPPY NEW YEAR. Belated na lang. Nasa jobsite kasi ako Christmas at New Year kaya feeling ko parang 2009 pa rin...hehehe
roadwarrior, actually yong shop na ang nag supply ng mga rubber lifters. Mga 1" and thickness ng nilagay nila. Binayaran ko including wheel alignment natawaran ko umabot lang 4,400 pesos. Pati labor kasama na sa amount ha.
gregg_g, hindi ko nakunan ng pictures yong mga rubber lifters eh. Pero ang laki ng improvement sa ride comfort after ng installation.

Mga boss which Casa do you bring your Sorento? Kia Fairview sucks big time. Nainis lang ako kausap yung mga SA at tao dun, walang alam. Is AutoCircle Pasig good? And do you bring your own consumables & supplies?

Ako sa Wheels E.Rod nagpapaservice ng Sorento pati Ssangyong Actyon namin. Wala naman ako naging issue sa kanila since 2005.

mga sir, wala bang bad effect yung rubber lifter sa suspension. Balak ko din mag lagay sana kaso baka masira naman ang pang ilalim. Ano kaya comment ng casa sa ganitong move.
Another question is kung na experince nyo na bang mamatay ang engine ng sorento diesel 2006 right after mag accelerate agad from sudden stop. It happen to me last thursday going nasugbo. Langyang bus, ginitgit ako kaya pag hinto ko, arangkada naman ako agad tapos biglang naramdaman ko wala ng power, patay na pala makina. LAngya di gumagana ang steering, nerbyoss tuloy ako. Baka may ganito kyong expereince.

I just read the papers and Kia just came out with a 5 seater CRDI Sorento for 1.295. Would anyone know if this is Matic? Is this a good deal?

Gumagana pa rin steering nyan sir kaso mabigat, nakapatay kasi power steering pag patay ang makina hehehe
