pinatingin ko na sa mekaniko ko, check nya lahat bearing, ok naman. new palang yun auto tensioner ko. pati idler tensioner ko , ok naman. nagpalit ako belt ng same brand (Dayco) after 1 day pag ka start ko engine maingay n belt. pag spray ko belt dressing nawawala squeak. pero after tumagal ulit n di ko start engine, pag start ko, ayan nanaman! Suspect ko yun bearing sa loob ng alternator, pag natetension na tsaka sya squeak, pero bago palit din yun about a 1 1/2 month ago. ano kaya problema nito?! belt kaya, kulang sa grip? tnx sa reply mikeey![/QUOTE]
hi sir, i had the same experience. akala ko. idler/tersioner bearings. but it turned out to be the alternator pulley. i had to replace the pulley. wala ako mahanap na bagong pulley lang. you have to buy a whole alternator. so naka hanap ako ng surplus pulley sa evangelista sa makati. 350 and surplus na pulley

Mga sirs, talaga ho bang mabagal ang pick-up ng kia carnival? hirap kasi carnival ko pag akyatan. kahit flyover lang, kailangan todo ko tinatapakan yung accelerator.
ganito ho ba talaga kapag front wheel drive tapos automatic na diesel?
bagong palit injector and pinalitan ko na lahat ng fluids.

November 29th, 2008 10:07 PM #2373Just got here sa Baguio on my '01 Carnival diesel A/T (which is on sale by the way) & coming up here (2nd time my carnival did it this year) is never a problem. You better have your ride checked again. Marami ng problems & solutions that are posted here that could help figure out the possible cause of your ride's current condition; backread ka na lang

have you had your intake cleaned? it may be clogged with gunk generated by the egr. kaya mahina sya kase sakal sya. sa sedona namin. i disconnected the vaccum tube leading to the egr. para hindi na sya gagana. and i don't have to have the intake cleaned every 10k. php700 and charge ng casa for cleaning.

salamat sa advise sir mintoy. sige, subukan kong tangalin yung tube na naka-connect sa egr.
sir guardiya, thank you sa advise... hinahanap ko parin yung tamang solusyong sa back pages..
although, tinging ko sa arangkada lang talaga problema... lalo na kung inclined... pagdirediretso na... sobrang bilis naman...
maynadaanan din akong gumagawa ng mga kia at hyndai sa examiner, QC. sabi nya, may aadjust lang daw sa injector. iba pa daw yon sa calibration.
isang suspisyon ko ay yung gulong... yung kinabit kasi ng dating may ari ay malaki... yung dalawang harap ay 215x75x15, tapos yung isang likod ay 215x70x15, sa kabilia naman ay 205x70x15....punta ako ds weekend sa blumentrit para mag hanap ng stock.

pag nagpalinis ba ng aircon kailangan pang baklasin ung dashboard?? to access the blower, etc.?
how about the blower, pwede ko ba sya ma DIY na baklasin?
ung aircon ko kasi pag ung sa harap ang nakabukas, di sya lumalamig....lalamig na lang sya pag binuksan ko din ung rear ac....

December 6th, 2008 09:25 AM #2379bka medyo kulang sa krudo yung engine kaya kapos sa paakyat.. have your injectors checked again.. yung carnival ko dati kahit puno at paakyat (baguio) walang problema inuunahan ko pa mga revo at starex diesels.. meron din pwede i adjust sa pump but i dont recommend it pwede maging mausok yung engine mo or tumaas ang idling speed...
yung egr mo do not disconnect the rubber hose.. better have the egr tube itself blocked..
electronic na yung sender ng speedometer ng carnival... check your odometer kung gumagana pa (most likely) sakit ng gen1 carnival ang busted speedometers minan na stuck pa yan at 40kph reading kung hindi gumagana odomoter baka yung sensor lang..
sa linis ng aircon no need baklasin ang dash board pero may isang bolt sa pinaka taas na mahirap abutin at mahirap ibalik kaya minsan pag natanggal na yung aircon eh hindi na binabalik yung bolt sa itaas.. yung blower pwede mo tanggalin yan DIY pero yung evaporator hindi..
may problem na expansion valves mo replace mo na sabay pag clean same with your filter drier.. also watch out for your the pressure sensor sa may filter drier yung sa akin dati na biyak ayun sumingaw refrigerant ko sayang...

mga sirs, na-adjust na ng mekaniko ko yung injector pump... inadvance nya. malaking improvement and hindi na masyadong mausok.
although, i'm not sure kung if its in its standard class. siguro kailangan kong magmaneho ng ibang carnival para macompare ko.
as for the gulong, bigo ako nung weekend dahil isang shop lang nakita ko sa blumentrit na nagbebenta ng original mags. hindi ko kinuha dahil sobrang mahal binebenta!!!wait nalang muna ako and gulong nalang palitan ko this weekend.
