pilot::: my steering is good: it centers itself back automatically and there is no more stiffness from lock to lock. i have not experienced any vibration at all during normal operation before and during the time the steering problem was not solved yet.

the only vibration that i felt that made me concerned a bit is a slight shudder in the front end when the car goes over 140kph. i edged it to 160kph but the vibration was still there. i haven't tested for that particular vibration since i got the car back. i am still on fuel-saving mode.

but i hope that issue was fixed when i had the front hub bearings replaced.

re the dim dashboard lights, i have made a diy on my opel manta before by removing the diffusers over the peanut bulb (but mind you, that was 1987 pa

). in your case, upgrading to a peanut bulb with a higher lumen output might solve your problem.

strong rain last night. and my wipers went crazy. lumalampas na nga sila sa windshield eh. apparently na-stuck na yata siya sa auto kaya when the sensors picked up the heavy rainfall tinodo na niya yung wiping action. does this happen to you guys? yung lumalampas yung wiper blades ha. pwede bang i-control yung lakas ng wiper lalo na pag naka-auto? san ba pwede pagawa to? aside from the casa of course. thanks

if you know how to remove the dashboard, DIY-ing bulb replacements is easy. just this weekend i replaced the lights in the demister and hazard light switches. i can't find the rice bulbs (i don't know if that is the right term) from the neighborhood autosupply so i salvaged two bulbs from one of my daughters' toys (hope they don't notice that it's a little dimmer now)

guys if you are within the metro specially in the vicinity of makati, JAY CASTILLO can help you with spare parts (he even delivers for 150 php). i've done business with him and he's ok. what i do is inquire first from fronte or felson (ang hirap tumawag sa goodgear, laging busy ang line)before i contact him so the price i get is just reasonable.

bumigay na ang alternator ng 2002 sedona ko last sunday.. nagpanic nga ako kasi sunday nga un at baka wala akong mabilhan ng parts... good thing me available na parts ung electrical shop na pinagdalahan ko..... stator coil ang ang bumigay at carbon at ang parts na ginamit is from pajero buti na lang kasya medyo ngbawas lang ng konti para maikabit ung vacuum pump.. ok na uli ung alternator ko and it cost me 1,800 php... kpapalit ko lang ng battery buo pla ung pinalitan ko eh naitrade in ko na sayang tsk tsk.....

Hi! Been browsing on this site for sometime now and I find it very interesting and informative, thanks to you all great car lovers out there! But this is my 1st post

Have a 2003 Sedona RS 2.9 diesel (55Tkm), still generally good performance at year four. I love the good suspension, cool aircon, and spacious interior. Lately though, noticed that more black smoke comes out of the exhaust in spite of regularly cleaning the pipe, and had it recently changed oil/filter/air filter. I use Caltex diesel, tried others pero ganun din. Any suggestions to correct this please. Thanks!

My brother wants to upgrade the stereo system of his carnival. Has anybody done this. Di kasi standard na 1 DIN yung Stereo slot ng Carnival di ba? Any suggestions? :puyat:

bro 2 din ang hu ng carnival/sedona. if you decide to use a 1 din hu, pwede naman you just have to cover the remaining half

Hi Guys,

I have been going over this thread for quite sometimes coz i have been thinking of getting a 2nd hand carnival (that's what I can only afford for now), anyway going over the thread I was conviced to push thru with my plans and got a 2002 carnival park (previous owner was a korean) but I wanted to do some changes hope you guys could help me. Initially I would like to change the headlights (its to dim for me), can I replace it with a Led of is there any replacement for the headlight (not plastic maybe)? I am also planning to change the fog or projector lamp which has moisture. How about the front grill? can you recommend any shop where I can have the unit check if ever I will have problems with the unit. By the way I am from Pasig.

Also please give me referrals on where I can buy parts if ever I encounter any problem with my unit.
