I also have a carnival ex LWB and just recently experienced this braking problem when driving at high speeds (around 100-140km/h). Bought it last september 2007. Checked other forums on kia carnival and found out that it is due to a warped front rotor. Has anyone else experienced this too? Can anyone confirm if it's actually the front rotor? thanks.

I have also noticed slight vibration in the steering wheel when braking at high speed. My unit is due for its 15k servicing and I will ask them to check the front rotors.

Mga Bro may I ask your latest updates re the performance of this MPV. My family is looking for a new van and I think this one fits our requirement. It's been more than a year since the introduction of this model and I've been reading this thread for quite sometime. But already close to month now still waiting for new updates. We prefer the LWB and the top of the line. My particular concern are the power features like the sliding doors, tailgate and etc. Also its overall performance or reliability and an update of the FC figure. Thanks and more power.

my FC last week is 9km/li.

Motegi: my unit is SWB LX...i took off the last seats coz i need the space for my cargo and we seldom use the last row seats. performance is ok m happy with the unit...passenger comfort and cargo space..it can carry 4 balik bayan boxes and 6 six passengers....aircon is ok no problem so far...engine is powerful, the carnival accelerate slow coz of its weight...nearly 2 tons, but if you are cruising on the hi-way super smooth lang....i dont need the power door and rear door...very complicated for me.

BTW, dati sabi nyo after 1K gaganda na consumption ko.. pero still 6km/L e. bakit kaya?

So far satisfied ako sa built quality ng carnival ko.. Except the electronic door is quite sensitive.. Maybe mga na repossed yun or mga demo unit being sold by kia ...

I don't find the trip meter accurate.... try to do a manual computation and it will yield a different result..

I just bought a used Kia carnival. Nakasulat sa likos "RS" pero automatic naman sya na gasoline... I thought RS versions were manual?

Okay naman performance nya and I have no regrets. Na-puzzle lang ako.
